🍋Sitrus-Series🍋|Champions-MC|#79 was a 119-player online Limitless tournament played on 2026-10-07 in Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C. The final round matches listed were itswayne1699 vs bobawong, won by bobawong; ander_arch vs powder, won by powder; and kekeelpepe vs linuswrong, won by linuswrong. At the top of the standings, mir_merchant [US] finished first at 10-1-0.

Place Player Record Team
1 mir_merchant [US] 10-1-0 Charizard, Pelipper, Archaludon, Venusaur, Grimmsnarl, Garchomp
2 Linus W 9-2-0 Basculegion ♀, Pelipper, Archaludon, Golisopod, Mamoswine, Venusaur
3 Tiki_torch [CO] 8-2-0 Scrafty, Indeedee ♀, Armarouge, Torkoal, Raichu, Mimikyu
4 KekeElPepe [CL] 7-3-0 Golisopod, Politoed, Archaludon, Sneasler, Indeedee, Gliscor

mir_merchant’s winning team was built around flexible weather pressure and layered support. Charizard (Charizardite Y / Blaze) and Pelipper (Sitrus Berry / Drizzle) both carried Weather Ball, while Pelipper also supplied Tailwind and Wide Guard. That gave the team a clear way to manage speed and protect against spread pressure while keeping offensive turns active with Hurricane and Weather Ball.

Archaludon was another central piece, using Leftovers, Stamina, Protect, Electro Shot, Dragon Pulse, and Flash Cannon. It paired naturally with Pelipper’s Drizzle while giving the team a durable special attacker. Venusaur added Focus Sash, Chlorophyll, Sleep Powder, Sludge Bomb, Leaf Storm, and Protect, giving mir_merchant disruption plus immediate Grass- and Poison-type pressure. Grimmsnarl’s Light Clay set with Prankster, Spirit Break, Reflect, Light Screen, and Parting Shot rounded out the defensive backbone. The final slot, Garchomp with Garchompite Z and a Modest special set of Draco Meteor, Earth Power, Power Gem, and Protect, gave the team a distinct coverage profile rather than a standard physical approach.

The biggest top-cut trend was the strength of Drizzle plus Archaludon structures. Pelipper appeared on both first and second place, each with Sitrus Berry and Drizzle, while Archaludon appeared in first, second, and fourth, always with Leftovers and Stamina. KekeElPepe used Politoed as the Drizzle setter instead, again alongside Archaludon and Electro Shot.

Venusaur also appeared in both of the top two teams, though with different items: mir_merchant used Focus Sash, while Linus W used Venusaurite. Golisopod with Golisopite appeared in second and fourth, both with Emergency Exit, Adamant, Leech Life, Iron Head, Sucker Punch, and Protect. Sneasler was another repeated threat across the wider top standings, appearing in fourth, fifth, and sixth with either White Herb or Focus Sash.

Psychic Terrain and Trick Room packages were also prominent. Tiki_torch used Indeedee ♀ with Psychic Surge next to Armarouge, Torkoal, and Mimikyu, while KekeElPepe brought Choice Scarf Indeedee with Expanding Force, Trick, and Trick Room. Minerva VGC also featured Indeedee, Armarouge, and Expanding Force in eighth.

Takeaway for ladder players: prepare seriously for Drizzle plus Archaludon, but do not ignore screens, Wide Guard, and mixed speed control around it.
