| 1 | Emoolew [SE] | 9-2-0 | Indeedee ♀ / Delphox / Sinistcha / Sneasler / Incineroar / Eternal Flower Floette |

Emoolew’s winning team leaned into layered board control around redirection, Fake Out pressure, and protected setup. Indeedee ♀ carried Rocky Helmet with Follow Me, Psychic, Fake Out, and Protect, while Sinistcha added a second redirection option with Rage Powder plus Hospitality, Matcha Gotcha, Life Dew, and Protect. That gave the team several ways to stabilize turns for its main attackers.
Delphox was the central special threat, using Delphoxite with Heat Wave, Psychic, Nasty Plot, and Protect. The same Delphoxite package also appeared on WestyLiam’s third-place team, suggesting that Delphox was one of the event’s important offensive Mega-style choices. Emoolew paired it with Eternal Flower Floette holding Floettite, running Dazzling Gleam, Draining Kiss, Calm Mind, and Protect, giving the team another setup-oriented win condition.
The support core was rounded out by Sneasler and Incineroar. Sneasler used Focus Sash, Poison Touch, Fake Out, Poison Jab, Close Combat, and Quick Guard, offering immediate disruption and speed control counterplay through Quick Guard. Incineroar brought the expected Intimidate utility with Sitrus Berry, Fake Out, Flare Blitz, Throat Chop, and Parting Shot. Between Follow Me, Rage Powder, Fake Out, Quick Guard, Intimidate, Parting Shot, Nasty Plot, and Calm Mind, the team had many ways to decide which turns mattered.
Across the top cut of standings, several patterns stood out. Incineroar appeared on #1 Emoolew, #3 WestyLiam, #6 Sark, #7 Tricki, and #8 Laxidaze3, almost always carrying Sitrus Berry and Intimidate. Sneasler was also frequent, appearing on #1, #3, #4, and #8, with both Focus Sash and White Herb variants represented.
Another notable cluster was the Rillaboom, Raichu, and Volcarona combination. RacletteOVNI, Sark, and Laxidaze3 all used Rillaboom with Miracle Seed and Grassy Surge, Raichu with Raichunite Y and Lightning Rod, and Volcarona with Grassy Seed and Flame Body. Gholdengo also remained relevant near the top, appearing on RacletteOVNI’s runner-up team and EcoMcC’s fifth-place team with Life Orb and Good as Gold.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Fake Out-heavy balance teams that combine redirection, Sitrus Berry Incineroar, Focus Sash or White Herb Sneasler, and setup attackers behind Protect.
