Sparkletastix1’s winning team was built around flexible speed control and multiple Mega options. Lopunny held Lopunnite with Cute Charm, using Fake Out, Encore, Close Combat, and Giga Impact to apply immediate pressure and disrupt setup or defensive turns. The team also carried Hatterene with Life Orb and Magic Bounce, running Dazzling Gleam, Psychic, Trick Room, and Protect, giving the roster a clear slower mode alongside Camerupt.
Camerupt with Cameruptite, Solid Rock, and a Quiet nature fit directly into that Trick Room plan, threatening with Heat Wave, Earth Power, Flamethrower, and Protect. On the other end, Aerodactyl with Focus Sash and Unnerve supplied Tailwind, Rock Slide, Dual Wingbeat, and Protect, letting the team operate at higher speed when needed. That combination of Trick Room from Hatterene and Tailwind from Aerodactyl made the composition hard to pin into a single tempo.
Aegislash added a more positional element with Leftovers, Stance Change, Substitute, King's Shield, Iron Head, and Poltergeist. Inteleon gave the team a special attacking angle with Scope Lens, Sniper, Snipe Shot, Dark Pulse, Vacuum Wave, and Protect. Overall, the winning six had disruption, two speed plans, and both immediate and defensive tools without relying on one linear mode.
Across the top teams, Aerodactyl stood out as a repeated support pick, appearing on both first and second place with the same Focus Sash, Unnerve, Jolly, Rock Slide, Dual Wingbeat, Tailwind, and Protect set. Wash Rotom appeared in second and third, both with Sitrus Berry and Levitate, though Fizzy14 used Volt Switch while Hyera used Will-O-Wisp.
Metagrossite also had a strong presence just outside and inside the top cut of the standings, with Fizzy14, Chrono24, ELEhmedo, and Orewa_Dev all bringing Metagross. Light Clay support showed up on Grimmsnarl for Fizzy14 and ELEhmedo, while matty3patty used Light Clay on Alolan Ninetales with Aurora Veil. Focus Sash was common as well, appearing on Aerodactyl, Whimsicott, Leafeon, Krookodile, Mamoswine, and other high-finishing support or utility attackers.
Weather and field control were also visible. matty3patty paired Torkoal’s Drought with Chlorophyll Leafeon and Solar Power Heliolisk, while also carrying Alolan Ninetales with Snow Warning and Sableye with Rain Dance. Hyera leaned into Fire pressure with Pyroar and Ninetales, while still supporting with Whimsicott Tailwind and Toxapex Wide Guard.
Takeaway for ladder players: build with more than one speed plan, because the top teams repeatedly combined Tailwind, Trick Room, Choice Scarf, or priority-style disruption rather than relying on a single mode.
