darxzy’s winning team combined several clear modes without leaning on only one speed plan. Salamence with Salamencite, Intimidate, Draco Meteor, Hyper Voice, Tailwind, and Protect gave the team a fast offensive centerpiece with Tailwind access. Alongside it, Indeedee brought Psychic Surge, Twisted Spoon, Expanding Force, Trick Room, Helping Hand, and Protect, giving the composition a second way to manage speed and improve damage output.
The sand package was just as important on paper. Tyranitar carried Choice Scarf with Sand Stream, Rock Slide, Knock Off, Ice Punch, and Low Kick, while Excadrill used Focus Sash and Sand Rush with Rock Slide, High Horsepower, Iron Head, and Protect. That pairing gave darxzy immediate Rock Slide pressure, a weather-based speed mode, and a Ground- and Steel-type attacker that did not need Tailwind to function. Kingambit added Life Orb, Defiant, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Iron Head, and Protect, giving the team priority and a strong response to Intimidate. Sneasler rounded it out with Psychic Seed and Unburden, fitting naturally next to Indeedee’s Psychic Surge while threatening Dire Claw, Close Combat, and Rock Tomb.
Across the upper standings, Sneasler was one of the clearest trends. It appeared on the teams of darxzy, almondspy, LuanVGC, and GlowGameplay, with Psychic Seed, Grassy Seed, and Focus Sash all represented. Rillaboom was also heavily present, appearing on almondspy, NinjaMeerkat, Yukihiro_SnM, GlowGameplay, Kellogsohnekakao, and Forblaze; Miracle Seed was the repeated item on most of those teams, usually paired with Fake Out, Grassy Glide, and Wood Hammer.
Salamence with Salamencite appeared on darxzy, NinjaMeerkat, and Yukihiro_SnM, reinforcing its place as a major Mega option in these standings. Kingambit showed up on darxzy, NinjaMeerkat, and GlowGameplay, with both Life Orb and Chople Berry sets. Focus Sash was also common across different roles, including Excadrill, Pawmot, Annihilape, Hisuian Arcanine, and Sneasler in the top eight.
Takeaway for ladder players: build with multiple speed modes and a clear terrain or weather plan, because the best teams here were not relying on a single setup route.
