DrAgonite08’s winning team was built around Charizard with Charizardite Y, giving the composition immediate weather pressure. Charizard’s Heat Wave and Weather Ball gave it spread and single-target Fire damage, while Solar Beam let it punish Water- and Rock-adjacent counterplay without needing a charging turn. Venusaur paired naturally with that structure through Chlorophyll, Focus Sash, Leaf Storm, Sludge Bomb, Sleep Powder, and Protect, giving the team a fast disruption mode under sun rather than relying only on damage.

The rest of the team gave DrAgonite08 several ways to control the pace. Farigiraf brought Armor Tail, Helping Hand, and Trick Room, meaning the team was not forced to play only as a fast sun offense. Incineroar supplied Intimidate, Fake Out, Parting Shot, and Sitrus Berry stability, which helped the offensive pieces find board position.
