| Place | Player | Record | Team |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | FrostyDog69 [SG] | 5-0-0 | Gardevoir / Indeedee ♀ / Salamence / Whimsicott / Glimmora / Basculegion |
| 2 | Gangadharan [IN] | 4-1-0 | Archaludon / Pelipper / Farigiraf / Golisopod / Garchomp / Basculegion |
| 3 | Sortikun [AR] | 4-1-0 | Dragonite / Basculegion / Sneasler / Kingambit / Delphox / Garchomp |

FrostyDog69’s winning team was built around layered speed and positioning options rather than a single mode. Gardevoir with Gardevoirite, Synchronize, Protect, Expanding Force, Hyper Voice, and Calm Mind paired naturally with Indeedee ♀, whose Psychic Surge enabled Psychic Terrain while Colbur Berry, Follow Me, Trick Room, Psychic, and Helping Hand gave the team both protection and flexible tempo control.
The second major axis was Salamence with Salamencite and Intimidate. Its Protect, Draco Meteor, Hyper Voice, and Flamethrower gave FrostyDog69 another special attacker that could pressure a wide range of targets. Whimsicott added Prankster Tailwind, Encore, Moonblast, and Protect, letting the team pivot between faster Tailwind turns and the slower Trick Room option from Indeedee ♀.
The remaining two slots gave the composition sharper endgame tools. Glimmora used Focus Sash with Toxic Debris and coverage in Sludge Bomb, Power Gem, Earth Power, and Protect. Basculegion, holding Spell Tag with Adaptability, brought Last Respects, Wave Crash, Aqua Jet, and Protect. That made it a threatening closer while still giving the team priority through Aqua Jet.
Across the top teams, Basculegion stood out immediately. It appeared on each of the top three teams, though with different items: Spell Tag for FrostyDog69, Choice Scarf for Gangadharan, and Sitrus Berry for Sortikun. Last Respects, Wave Crash, and Aqua Jet were shared across all three versions.
Garchomp was another repeated presence near the top, appearing on Gangadharan’s team with Garchompite Z and on Sortikun’s team with Choice Scarf, while also showing up later in the standings on Red_Dolch and LEOSHA. Kingambit appeared on both Sortikun and Ryuugo, with both using Chople Berry, Defiant, Adamant, Sucker Punch, Low Kick, Kowtow Cleave, and Iron Head.
Focus Sash was also common across the upper standings, appearing on Glimmora, Pelipper, Sneasler, and Indeedee within the top four alone. Speed control was everywhere as well: Whimsicott, Dragonite, and Gliscor all carried Tailwind, while Indeedee ♀, Farigiraf, and Indeedee represented Trick Room or anti-Trick Room structures.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Basculegion endgames, mixed speed control, and Chople Berry Kingambit when testing Regulation Set M-C teams.
