| Place | Player | Record | Team |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | NervoX [MX] | 8-1-0 | Golisopod, Garchomp, Pelipper, Raichu, Farigiraf, Archaludon |
| 2 | Dreepy_volador1 [MX] | 6-3-0 | Metagross, Indeedee, Pelipper, Archaludon, Sneasler, Charizard |
| 3 | 5th_ma9ic1an [US] | 6-2-0 | Hydreigon, Sneasler, Raichu, Indeedee ♀, Volcarona, Dragonite |
| 4 | MILKA [BR] | 5-3-0 | Torkoal, Incineroar, Farigiraf, Mawile, Sinistcha, Ampharos |
NervoX’s winning team was built around layered speed control and rain pressure. Pelipper supplied Drizzle and Tailwind with Focus Sash, giving the team immediate weather and a way to push faster modes. Archaludon was the clearest beneficiary, using Leftovers and Stamina with Electro Shot, Dragon Pulse, Snarl, and Protect. Farigiraf added a second mode with Trick Room while also carrying Rain Dance, letting NervoX reset weather without relying only on Pelipper.
The rest of the team gave the composition multiple angles into common positions. Raichu with Raichunite Y and Lightning Rod offered Fake Out support alongside Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, and Protect. Garchomp used Choice Scarf with Stomping Tantrum, Earthquake, Dragon Claw, and Rock Slide, giving the team immediate physical speed outside of Tailwind. Golisopod with Golisopite rounded out the lineup as an Adamant attacker with Iron Head, Leech Life, Rock Slide, and Close Combat. Between Pelipper’s Tailwind, Farigiraf’s Trick Room, and Raichu’s Fake Out, the team could contest tempo rather than depending on one fixed speed plan.
Across the top teams, weather was a major theme. Pelipper plus Archaludon appeared on both first and second place teams, while Archaludon also showed up on Adrianchavesh’s sixth-place team. Dreepy_volador1 paired Drizzle with Charizard holding Charizardite Y, while MILKA and Pingualdo both used Torkoal with Drought and Charcoal. Adrianchavesh also brought both Charizard and Politoed, giving another example of teams carrying multiple weather angles.
Raichu was another defining pick among the listed top finishers. NervoX, 5th_ma9ic1an, Maggrosbeat, Adrianchavesh, and Viejomoss all used Raichu, split between Raichunite Y and Raichunite X. Sneasler was also common, appearing on the second-, third-, and fifth-place teams with Unburden and either Psychic Seed, Focus Sash, or Electric Seed. Psychic Terrain structures showed up through Indeedee and Indeedee ♀, while Farigiraf remained relevant as a Trick Room and Armor Tail option.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for flexible weather teams that can switch between Tailwind pressure, Trick Room positioning, and Fake Out-supported offense.
