🍬 CARAMELO RARO — WEEKLY #3 results recap

🍬 CARAMELO RARO — WEEKLY #3 was a 30-player online Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C event on Limitless, played on 2026-10-18. Kyle Doran [GB] finished undefeated at 7-0-0, with the final round sequence listing altkyle over guccijoe, arias1602 over jordiunderscore, and altkyle over arias1602.

Place Player Record Team
1 Kyle Doran [GB] 7-0-0 Dragonite, Annihilape, Raichu, Gholdengo, Hisuian Arcanine, Rillaboom
2 Jorge Arias [MX] 5-2-0 Dragonite, Annihilape, Hisuian Arcanine, Raichu, Gholdengo, Rillaboom
3 Jordi Gifford [AU] 4-2-0 Raichu, Dragonite, Sneasler, Rillaboom, Kingambit, Primarina
4 Jt Tancawan [PH] 4-2-0 Grimmsnarl, Garchomp, Charizard, Venusaur, Pelipper, Archaludon

Kyle’s winning team leaned on a clear balance of speed control, pressure, and Fake Out positioning. Dragonite (Dragoninite / Inner Focus / Modest) carried Dragon Pulse, Flamethrower, Tailwind, and Protect, giving the team a central speed-control option that could still attack consistently. Raichu (Raichunite Y / Lightning Rod / Timid) added Fake Out, Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, and Protect, pairing disruption with immediate offensive reach.

The physical side was just as direct. Annihilape used Choice Scarf with Defiant and an Adamant nature, running Shadow Claw, Close Combat, Ice Punch, and Rock Tomb. Hisuian Arcanine held Focus Sash with Rock Head, using Flare Blitz, Head Smash, Extreme Speed, and Protect. Rillaboom brought the familiar Miracle Seed / Grassy Surge / Adamant package with Fake Out, Wood Hammer, Grassy Glide, and High Horsepower. Gholdengo rounded out the composition with Life Orb, Good as Gold, Make It Rain, Shadow Ball, Nasty Plot, and Protect, giving the team a strong special win condition alongside Dragonite and Raichu.

The top two teams were nearly identical. Jorge Arias also used Dragonite, Annihilape, Hisuian Arcanine, Raichu, Gholdengo, and Rillaboom, with the main listed move differences including U-turn on Annihilape over Rock Tomb and U-turn on Rillaboom over High Horsepower. That mirror structure says a lot about the early shape of this event: Dragoninite Dragonite, Raichunite Y Raichu, Focus Sash Hisuian Arcanine, Life Orb Gholdengo, and Miracle Seed Rillaboom formed the core to beat.

Across the top four, Dragonite appeared on each of the top three teams, while Raichu and Rillaboom also appeared on each of the top three. The third-place team shifted Raichu to Raichunite X and paired it with Sneasler, Kingambit, and Primarina, while still keeping Dragonite Tailwind and the Miracle Seed Rillaboom package. Life Orb was also common near the top, appearing on Gholdengo, Kingambit, and Venusaur among the top four. Jt Tancawan’s fourth-place team stood apart with Grimmsnarl screens, Garchomp, Charizard, Venusaur, Pelipper, and Archaludon, showing a different approach built around Light Clay, weather tools, and additional Tailwind support.

Ladder takeaway: prepare for Dragonite plus Raichu and Rillaboom structures first, then make sure your team also has a plan into Life Orb setup and heavy Fake Out positioning.
