The ⛩️Chadweezy95 VGC Champions Tournament Ep 28!⛩️ was played on 2026-10-06 on Limitless, with 12 players competing in Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C. Robin_VGC finished first at 7-1-0, closing the event with final-round wins over laleli and altkyle. CJ__black98 also picked up a final-round win over LJeezy.

Place Player Record Team
1 Robin_VGC 7-1-0 Charizard, Pelipper, Archaludon, Venusaur, Grimmsnarl, Garchomp
2 Altkyle [GB] 7-1-0 Dragonite, Annihilape, Raichu, Gholdengo, Hisuian Arcanine, Rillaboom
3 laleli [PA] 5-2-0 Garchomp, Incineroar, Raichu, Basculegion, Volcarona, Rillaboom
4 CJ__black98 [PR] 3-4-0 Metagross, Sneasler, Rillaboom, Volcarona, Milotic, Garchomp

Robin_VGC’s winning team was built around flexible weather pressure and strong defensive pacing. Charizard held Charizardite Y with Weather Ball, Heat Wave, Hurricane, and Protect, while Pelipper brought Sitrus Berry, Drizzle, Hurricane, Weather Ball, Tailwind, and Wide Guard. That gave the team multiple ways to pressure both slots while still carrying Tailwind and Wide Guard for positioning.

The rest of the squad supported that plan with a mix of bulk, disruption, and matchup coverage. Archaludon used Leftovers and Stamina with Protect, Electro Shot, Dragon Pulse, and Flash Cannon, giving Robin_VGC a durable special attacker that could stay on the field. Venusaur added Focus Sash, Chlorophyll, Sleep Powder, Sludge Bomb, Leaf Storm, and Protect, making it the team’s clearest disruption piece. Grimmsnarl rounded out the support core with Light Clay, Prankster, Spirit Break, Reflect, Light Screen, and Parting Shot. Garchomp, using Garchompite Z with Draco Meteor, Earth Power, Power Gem, and Protect, gave the team another high-impact special attacking angle.

Across the top teams, Garchomp was the standout repeat pick, appearing on three of the top four teams. All three used Garchompite Z, Rough Skin, Modest, Power Gem, and Protect, though the exact Dragon- and Ground-type coverage varied between Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Earth Power, and Substitute.

Rillaboom was also prominent, appearing on Altkyle, laleli, and CJ__black98. Each version used Miracle Seed, Grassy Surge, Adamant, Grassy Glide, Wood Hammer, and Fake Out, with High Horsepower or U-turn filling the last slot. Raichu appeared on both Altkyle and laleli with Raichunite Y, Lightning Rod, Timid, Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, and Protect, while Volcarona appeared on laleli and CJ__black98 in different roles.

Item trends were clear near the top: Focus Sash appeared on Venusaur, Hisuian Arcanine, and Sneasler, while Miracle Seed Rillaboom was a consistent part of the field. Leftovers also showed up on Archaludon and Milotic.

Takeaway for ladder players: build with a clear speed plan, but make sure your support Pokemon still create pressure through Fake Out, screens, disruption, or positioning tools.
