PokeReplay’s winning team was built around a direct Charizard + Venusaur core, with Charizard holding Charizardite Y and running Heat Wave, Weather Ball, Ancient Power, and Protect, while Venusaur used Life Orb, Chlorophyll, and a fully offensive set of Leaf Storm, Sludge Bomb, Earth Power, and Protect. That gives the team immediate spread pressure from Charizard and fast special damage from Venusaur, forcing opponents to respect both Fire- and Grass-type pressure from preview.
The supporting pieces were just as important. Choice Scarf Garchomp with Earthquake, Dragon Claw, Stomping Tantrum, and Rock Slide gave PokeReplay a fast physical attacker that could clean or pressure both single targets and both opposing slots. Incineroar provided the familiar Intimidate, Fake Out, and Parting Shot package with Sitrus Berry, helping position the team’s stronger attackers. Toxapex stood out as a slower defensive piece, using Leftovers, Regenerator, Infestation, Toxic, Wide Guard, and Baneful Bunker. Wide Guard in particular fit well next to a team that wanted to control board states against spread attacks. Sylveon rounded things out with Fairy Feather, Pixilate, Hyper Voice, Quick Attack, Yawn, and Detect, adding Fairy spread damage and another way to slow opponents down through Yawn.
Across the top teams, Incineroar remained one of the clearest trends. It appeared on the first-, second-, and third-place teams, always with Intimidate, Fake Out, and Parting Shot. Garchomp also showed up in both of the top two teams, and both used Choice Scarf, Rough Skin, Adamant, Earthquake, Dragon Claw, Stomping Tantrum, and Rock Slide in some order. Kingambit was another major presence, appearing on teams placed second through fourth, most often with Defiant, Adamant, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, and Protect.
Charizardite Y Charizard was not limited to the champion. Gurrasnurra5 also used Charizard with Charizardite Y, Heat Wave, Weather Ball, Helping Hand, and Protect, while BowlingVGC and Checkmath both had Charizard in the top eight. Staraptor with Staraptite was another repeated Mega option, appearing on the third-, fourth-, and seventh-place teams. Support items were also consistent: Sitrus Berry appeared on multiple Incineroar and Sinistcha sets, Focus Sash appeared on Sneasler, Whimsicott, Kingambit, Excadrill, and Pelipper, and Leftovers showed up on Toxapex, Skeledirge, Milotic, and Archaludon.
