Laurin’s winning team stood out as a flexible balance composition with multiple speed modes and strong immediate damage. Decidueye carried Focus Sash with Tailwind, giving the team a direct way to control pace while still threatening with Shadow Sneak, Spirit Shackle, and Leaf Blade. Farigiraf provided the opposite mode with Trick Room, backed by Sitrus Berry, Armor Tail, Helping Hand, Hyper Voice, and Psychic. That combination let Laurin play both faster and slower board states without committing the whole team to one plan.

The offensive core was varied. Blastoise with Blastoisinite, Torrent, Fake Out, Dark Pulse, Aura Sphere, and Water Pulse added pressure plus Fake Out support. Garchomp used Lum Berry and Rough Skin with Dragon Claw, Stomping Tantrum, Rock Slide, and Protect, giving the team a grounded physical attacker that could spread pressure.
