Synchronized Worlds #2 results: znivs finishes unbeaten

Synchronized Worlds #2 was a 14-player online tournament on Limitless for Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-B, played on 2026-08-23. znivs [PH] finished first at 9-0-1, closing the event by winning final round matches against shukai1021 and lojica1. shukai1021 also defeated penglin in the final round set of reported matches.

Place Player Record Team
1 znivs [PH] 9-0-1 Whimsicott / Garchomp / Basculegion / Incineroar / Eternal Flower Floette / Charizard
2 Shukai1021 [PH] 6-3-1 Grimmsnarl / Garchomp / Charizard / Venusaur / Incineroar / Floette
3 Penglin [PH] 4-3-1 Staraptor / Farigiraf / Excadrill / Tyranitar / Houndstone / Metagross
4 Lojica1 [PH] 4-3-1 Gengar / Kommo-o / Politoed / Swampert / Vivillon / Incineroar

znivs’s winning team is built around immediate speed control, strong spread pressure, and several flexible endgame pieces. Whimsicott is the lead enabler, using Focus Sash, Prankster, Tailwind, Encore, Moonblast, and Protect to control pace without needing heavy bulk. That lets Garchomp apply pressure quickly with Life Orb, Rough Skin, Stomping Tantrum, Rock Slide, Dragon Claw, and Protect.

The team’s physical offense is not limited to Garchomp. Basculegion brings Mystic Water, Adaptability, Wave Crash, Last Respects, Aqua Jet, and Protect, giving znivs both heavy Water-type damage and priority. Incineroar fills the standard stabilizing role with Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Parting Shot, Flare Blitz, Throat Chop, and Fake Out, giving the team ways to reset board states while its attackers stay threatening.

The two special attackers round out the structure. Eternal Flower Floette uses Floettite with Flower Veil, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Calm Mind, and Protect, giving the team a Fairy-type setup option rather than only immediate offense. Charizard holds Charizardite Y with Blaze, Modest nature, Heat Wave, Weather Ball, Solar Beam, and Protect, providing spread damage and coverage that complements the physical core. The result is a team that can open aggressively with Tailwind, pivot with Incineroar, or play toward a boosted Eternal Flower Floette depending on the matchup.

Several patterns showed up near the top. Garchomp appeared on both finalist teams and also in fifth and seventh, though item choices varied from Life Orb to Choice Scarf, Garchompite, and White Herb. Incineroar was used by first, second, fourth, and seventh, with Intimidate, Fake Out, and Parting Shot repeatedly appearing in its sets. Charizardite Y also showed up on znivs, Shukai1021, and Binz.

Floettite was another notable item, used by znivs’s Eternal Flower Floette, Shukai1021’s Floette, and kubilyan’s Eternal Flower Floette. Focus Sash remained a common support item across Whimsicott, Venusaur, Vivillon, Gallade, and Pelipper. Weather also mattered across the standings, with Tyranitar using Sand Stream, Politoed and Pelipper using Drizzle, and multiple Charizardite Y teams finishing in the top half.

Takeaway for ladder players: prioritize reliable speed control and pivoting, because the best-performing teams paired fast pressure with Incineroar-style board management.
