Aura Camila Hernández Belmonte’s winning team leaned on layered pressure rather than a single mode. Staraptor with Staraptite, Intimidate, Close Combat, Brave Bird, Roost, and Protect gave the team immediate physical disruption and direct damage. Garchomp added Life Orb offense with Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Rock Slide, and Protect, giving the team a strong spread-damage angle next to partners that can manage positioning.

Whimsicott was the clearest support piece. Occa Berry, Prankster, Tailwind, Light Screen, Charm, and Moonblast let it cover speed control, special bulk support, and physical damage reduction in one slot. That made sense beside Delphox, whose Delphoxite set of Heat Wave, Psychic, Substitute, and Protect offered special attacking pressure while still having the option to preserve board position with Substitute and Protect.

The back half rounded out the team’s ability to punish contact and close games. Glimmora carried Focus Sash with Toxic Debris, Power Gem, Sludge Bomb, Earth Power, and Spiky Shield, giving Aura Camila Hernández Belmonte a resilient attacking lead or pivot. Kingambit, with Chople Berry, Defiant, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Iron Head, and Low Kick, supplied priority and a strong answer into Intimidate-based play.

Across the top teams, Delphox was the standout repeated pick, appearing on each of the top three teams with Delphoxite. Staraptor also showed up in both first and fourth, each with Staraptite, Intimidate, Jolly, Close Combat, Brave Bird, Roost, and Protect. Kingambit was another major presence, appearing in first, third, seventh, and eighth, with Defiant on every listed set.

Support cores varied, but several patterns were clear. Farigiraf with Sitrus Berry appeared in third, fourth, sixth, and seventh, commonly bringing Trick Room and Armor Tail. Sylveon with Fairy Feather appeared in third, sixth, and seventh. Focus Sash and Life Orb were both widely used across the top eight, showing up on attackers and utility pieces alike, while Chople Berry Kingambit was shared by first and third.

Takeaway for ladder players: prioritize flexible speed control and endgame priority, because the highest-finishing teams were built to switch modes without giving up offensive pressure.
