ryoshino’s winning team was built around a very clear Annihilape plan. Annihilape used Leftovers, Defiant, and a Jolly nature with Rage Fist, Drain Punch, Bulk Up, and Protect, giving it a direct win condition if it gets time to set up. Maushold supports that approach with Focus Sash, Friend Guard, Beat Up, Taunt, Follow Me, and Protect, combining redirection, disruption, and the Beat Up interaction with Rage Fist.

The rest of the team reinforces that bulky setup structure. Incineroar brought Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Parting Shot, and Fake Out, giving ryoshino standard positioning tools alongside Flare Blitz and Darkest Lariat. Sinistcha added Occa Berry, Hospitality, Matcha Gotcha, Life Dew, Rage Powder, and Protect, making the team even harder to remove once Annihilape or Sylveon was established. Sylveon filled the spread-damage role with Fairy Feather, Pixilate, Hyper Voice, Quick Attack, Hyper Beam, and Protect. Raichu rounded out the six with Raichunite Y, Lightning Rod, Fake Out, Protect, Zap Cannon, and Focus Blast, adding another Fake Out user and an Electric immunity angle.

Across the top teams, several Pokemon stood out as recurring picks. White Herb was especially tied to physical attackers, appearing on Incineroar and several Sneasler.

Takeaway for ladder players: ryoshino’s win shows that layered support around a durable central attacker can still keep pace with the format’s faster Staraptor, Basculegion, and Whimsicott teams.
