Mazks’ winning team was a clean example of layered pressure with multiple speed modes. Aerodactyl held Aerodactylite with Unnerve and Jolly, giving the team Tailwind alongside Rock Slide, Dual Wingbeat, and Ice Fang. On the other side of the speed-control spectrum, Farigiraf carried Sitrus Berry, Armor Tail, Bold, and Trick Room, with Psychic, Thunderbolt, and Protect. That combination let Mazks play both fast and slow depending on the opposing board.
The offensive core was direct and difficult to ignore. Charizard with Charizardite Y, Blaze, Modest, Heat Wave, Solar Beam, Weather Ball, and Protect supplied spread damage and coverage. Garchomp used Life Orb with Rough Skin, Jolly, Earthquake, Dragon Claw, Stomping Tantrum, and Protect, giving the team another high-output attacker with both spread and single-target Ground options. Sylveon rounded out the special pressure with Fairy Feather, Pixilate, Modest, Hyper Voice, Hyper Beam, Quick Attack, and Protect.
Kingambit was the key physical anchor. Focus Sash, Defiant, Adamant, Kowtow Cleave, Iron Head, Sucker Punch, and Low Kick made it a reliable piece into aggressive endgames while also punishing Intimidate positioning. Between Sucker Punch, Quick Attack, Tailwind, and Trick Room, Mazks had several ways to decide which side moved first rather than relying on one speed plan.
The most obvious trend was the shared five-Pokemon core at the top. Mazks, Miscell O, and Holasoy all used Aerodactyl, Kingambit, Sylveon, Garchomp, and Charizard. The item patterns were also highly consistent: Aerodactylite on Aerodactyl, Focus Sash on Kingambit for the top three, Fairy Feather on Sylveon, Life Orb on Garchomp, and Charizardite Y on Charizard. Farigiraf appeared on Mazks and Holasoy as the sixth member, while Miscell O chose Incineroar with Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, and Parting Shot.
Farigiraf was not limited to the winning structure. Meiko41 also used Sitrus Berry Farigiraf with Armor Tail, Helping Hand, Trick Room, Psychic, and Rain Dance, supporting a different direction built around Beedrill, Archaludon, Swampert, Pelipper, and Incineroar. Incineroar showed up repeatedly in the upper standings as well, including Miscell O, Meiko41, Patrick Leonard-Brown, lykemafiaa, and Puck, though its item varied between Sitrus Berry, Passho Berry, and White Herb.
