Snorlaxpikachu1’s winning team was built around a direct offensive core with strong speed control and multiple late-game threats. Charizard with Charizardite Y, Blaze, Modest, Weather Ball, Heat Wave, Solar Beam, and Protect gave the team immediate spread pressure and a clear way to punish teams that could not handle Fire-type pressure. Whimsicott supplied Prankster Tailwind, Moonblast, Encore, and Protect while holding Focus Sash, giving the team a reliable way to set the pace.
The physical attackers filled out the pressure well. Garchomp used Life Orb with Earthquake, Dragon Claw, Rock Slide, and Protect, giving the team another spread option and strong neutral damage. Basculegion carried Mystic Water, Adaptability, Adamant, Wave Crash, Last Respects, Aqua Jet, and Protect, providing both immediate Water-type pressure and a threatening endgame tool. Kingambit with Black Glasses, Defiant, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Iron Head, and Protect added priority and a useful answer into Intimidate-style positioning. Eternal Flower Floette with Floettite, Flower Veil, Timid, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Light of Ruin, and Protect rounded out the team with Fairy-type pressure.
Several trends stood out across the top finishers. Kingambit appeared on three of the top four teams, with Black Glasses and Defiant on each of those versions. Incineroar also appeared on three of the top four, all using Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, and Parting Shot in some form. Floette or Eternal Flower Floette was present on each of the top three teams, always with Floettite and Flower Veil.
Basculegion was another major presence, appearing on the first and second place teams, with Adaptability and Last Respects on both sets. Garchomp appeared on the champion’s team and kafkafoon’s fourth-place team, both with Life Orb, Rough Skin, Jolly, Earthquake, Dragon Claw, and Protect. Focus Sash also showed up repeatedly among support and utility picks, including Whimsicott and Sneasler in the top three.
