Starlight143’s winning team was built around Charizard with Charizardite Y, using Heat Wave, Weather Ball, Solar Beam, and Protect. That made the team’s weather mode very direct: Charizard pressured both slots with spread Fire damage while also carrying Solar Beam for coverage, and Venusaur paired with it through Chlorophyll, Focus Sash, Sleep Powder, Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb, and Protect.
The rest of the team gave that sun core several ways to control board position.
