Katiclus won with a clear slow-mode composition built around Torkoal and Farigiraf. Torkoal carried Charcoal with Drought, Quiet nature, and a spread of Eruption, Heat Wave, Weather Ball, and Protect, giving the team a direct sun-powered damage plan. Farigiraf added Armor Tail and Trick Room, letting the slower core function while also blocking priority pressure into key turns.
The rest of the winning team supported that plan with layered damage and priority control. Sylveon used Life Orb and Pixilate with Hyper Voice, Hyper Beam, Quick Attack, and Protect, giving Katiclus another strong spread attacker that fits well beside Trick Room. Kingambit brought Occa Berry, Defiant, and a Brave nature with Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Low Kick, and Iron Head, covering both immediate damage and late-game priority. Appletun was a bulkier special attacker with Dragon Fang, Thick Fat, Apple Acid, Dragon Pulse, Recover, and Protect. Kangaskhan rounded the six out with Kangaskhanite, Scrappy, Fake Out, Double-Edge, Low Kick, and Sucker Punch, giving the team a practical lead option and additional priority.
