Meeklosh's Fight Night Friday | REG M-C results recap

Meeklosh's Fight Night Friday | REG M-C was a 24-player online Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C event played on Limitless on 2026-11-06. Shukai1021 took first place at 7-1-0, defeating ribombeeteacher in the final round match.

Place Player Record Team
1 Shukai1021 [PH] 7-1-0 Basculegion ♀, Sneasler, Raichu, Pelipper, Golisopod, Archaludon
2 RibombeeTeacher [GB] 5-3-0 Raichu, Primarina, Staraptor, Gholdengo, Hisuian Arcanine, Rillaboom
3 Alkesandro [IT] 5-2-0 Garchomp, Sneasler, Eternal Flower Floette, Incineroar, Rillaboom, Kingambit
4 Jocario [DE] 5-2-0 Armarouge, Milotic, Indeedee ♀, Dragapult, Staraptor, Golisopod

Shukai1021’s winning team was built around a clear rain core with Pelipper and Basculegion ♀. Pelipper carried Damp Rock with Drizzle, giving the team extended weather support, while Basculegion ♀ used Focus Sash and Swift Swim with Muddy Water, Shadow Ball, Ice Beam, and Protect. That combination gave the team fast spread pressure in rain while still preserving defensive flexibility through Protect.

Archaludon was another key part of the structure. With Leftovers, Stamina, Dragon Pulse, Electro Shot, Snarl, and Protect, it fit naturally next to rain support and added a bulkier special attacking option. Snarl also gave the team a way to reduce opposing special damage, which mattered alongside a composition that included several offensive threats.

The support package was compact but important. Raichu used Raichunite X, Lightning Rod, Fake Out, Volt Switch, Volt Tackle, and Feint, giving Shukai1021 Fake Out pressure, redirection into Lightning Rod, and the ability to punish Protect with Feint. Sneasler’s Electric Seed, Unburden, Swords Dance, Poison Jab, Close Combat, and Protect offered a second physical win condition. Golisopod rounded out the team with Golisopite, Emergency Exit, Iron Head, Leech Life, Sucker Punch, and Protect, adding priority and another Mega-style threat.

Across the top teams, Raichu was one of the most notable repeated picks, appearing on both finalist teams with different stones: Shukai1021 used Raichunite X, while RibombeeTeacher used Raichunite Y. Sneasler appeared on the first- and third-place teams, though with different roles: Shukai1021 used Electric Seed and Unburden, while Alkesandro used Focus Sash and Poison Touch with Fake Out, Coaching, Dire Claw, and Close Combat.

Rillaboom also showed up repeatedly near the top, placing second and third with Miracle Seed, Grassy Surge, Fake Out, Wood Hammer, and Grassy Glide. Staraptor was another important presence, appearing on RibombeeTeacher’s and Jocario’s teams with Staraptite and Intimidate. Golisopod was shared by first and fourth, both using Golisopite and Emergency Exit, with Leech Life, Iron Head, and Sucker Punch appearing on both sets.

Item trends were straightforward: Focus Sash showed up on Basculegion ♀, Hisuian Arcanine, and Sneasler in the top three, while Life Orb appeared on Gholdengo, Kingambit, and Dragapult across the top four. Leftovers also made an impact on bulky special attackers, with Archaludon on the winning team and Primarina on the runner-up squad.

Takeaway for ladder players: rain cores with layered Fake Out, priority, and secondary setup options remain difficult to cover cleanly in Regulation Set M-C.
