Intimidators Champions Challenge #52 REG M-C recap and results

Intimidators Champions Challenge #52 REG M-C was a 55-player online event played on Limitless under Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C on 2026-10-26. LuscaVGC [BR] finished first with a perfect 9-0-0 record, closing the event by defeating Stallcelth [BR] after Stallcelth had advanced through final round matches over Lordao [BR] and PeteWhiz [BR].

Place Player Record Team
1 LuscaVGC [BR] 9-0-0 Venusaur, Incineroar, Aegislash, Sylveon, Charizard, Garchomp
2 Stallcelth [BR] 6-3-0 Garchomp, Rillaboom, Volcarona, Gholdengo, Raichu, Sneasler
3 Lordao [BR] 6-2-0 Froslass, Basculegion, Kingambit, Sneasler, Lycanroc Dusk, Scovillain
4 Giuseppe [IT] 6-2-0 Charizard, Golisopod, Politoed, Archaludon, Grimmsnarl, Farigiraf

LuscaVGC’s winning team was built around immediate offensive pressure with flexible positioning tools. Charizard with Charizardite Y, Heat Wave, Weather Ball, Ancient Power, and Protect paired directly with Venusaur, which carried Life Orb, Chlorophyll, Modest, and a full attacking set of Leaf Storm, Sludge Bomb, Earth Power, and Protect. That combination gave the team fast special damage without needing much setup.

The support shell was equally important. Incineroar used Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Parting Shot, and Fake Out, giving the team standard control while still threatening Flare Blitz and Throat Chop. Aegislash added a different kind of utility with Focus Sash, Wide Guard, Shadow Sneak, Poltergeist, and Close Combat, letting the team cover both spread-move pressure and late-game cleanup lines. Sylveon supplied Fairy Feather Pixilate Hyper Voice, with Quick Attack, Yawn, and Detect adding both damage and tempo options. Garchomp rounded the six out with Choice Scarf, Rough Skin, and an Adamant set of Earthquake, Stomping Tantrum, Rock Slide, and Dragon Claw, giving LuscaVGC another fast physical mode alongside the Charizard and Venusaur offense.

Across the top teams, Garchomp was one of the clearest standouts. It appeared on the champion’s team with Choice Scarf, on Stallcelth’s runner-up team with Garchompite Z, and again lower in the standings on PeteWhiz and CJ__black98’s teams with Garchompite Z. Incineroar also remained a common glue piece, appearing on LuscaVGC, PeteWhiz, Mania99, paillion, and CJ__black98, usually combining Intimidate with Fake Out and Parting Shot or similar pivoting pressure.

Rillaboom and Sneasler were another repeated pairing near the top. Stallcelth used Miracle Seed Rillaboom with Grassy Surge next to Grassy Seed Sneasler with Unburden, while paillion also used Rillaboom and Grassy Seed Sneasler. That core gave teams Fake Out access, priority pressure through Grassy Glide, and a fast physical attacker once Unburden was active.

Charizardite Y was also visible beyond the winning team, with Giuseppe and Mania99 both using Charizard. Giuseppe’s fourth-place team combined Charizard with Politoed, Archaludon, Grimmsnarl, Farigiraf, and Golisopod, while Mania99 used a structure very close to LuscaVGC’s six, including Charizard, Venusaur, Incineroar, Garchomp, Farigiraf, and Sylveon.

Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for fast Garchomp modes, Incineroar positioning, and Charizard plus Venusaur pressure when building for Regulation Set M-C.
