| Place | Player | Record | Team |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | SomeoneOffical [US] | 6-1-0 | Basculegion ♀ / Golisopod / Archaludon / Pelipper / Raichu / Sneasler |
| 2 | Titouzerr [FR] | 5-2-0 | Gengar / Incineroar / Rillaboom / Kommo-o / Primarina / Vivillon |
| 3 | LuanVGC [US] | 4-2-0 | Eternal Flower Floette / Umbreon / Rillaboom / Garchomp / Sneasler / Charizard |
| 4 | MonkeyT | 4-2-0 | Garchomp / Sneasler / Kingambit / Raichu / Gallade / Rillaboom |
SomeoneOffical’s winning team was built around a clear rain mode. Pelipper carried Damp Rock with Drizzle, giving the team extended weather support alongside Weather Ball, Hurricane, Helping Hand, and Wide Guard. That enabled Basculegion ♀, which used Focus Sash and Swift Swim with Muddy Water, Shadow Ball, Ice Beam, and Protect. The set gave the team immediate rain pressure while still having coverage into different board states.
Archaludon was the slower, more durable piece of the rain structure, holding Leftovers with Stamina and running Dragon Pulse, Electro Shot, Snarl, and Protect. Between Stamina, Snarl, Protect, and Leftovers, it provided a stabilizing option rather than just another attacker. Raichu added Lightning Rod, Fake Out, Volt Switch, Volt Tackle, and Feint with Raichunite X, giving the team both disruption and a way to pressure defensive positioning. Golisopod brought Golisopite, Emergency Exit, Iron Head, Leech Life, Sucker Punch, and Protect, while Sneasler used White Herb, Unburden, Poison Jab, Close Combat, Swords Dance, and Protect as a physical setup threat.
The top four showed several repeated ideas. Rillaboom appeared on Titouzerr, LuanVGC, and MonkeyT, and all three used Miracle Seed, Grassy Surge, Adamant nature, Grassy Glide, U-turn, and Fake Out somewhere in the set. Sneasler was also common, appearing on the first, third, and fourth-place teams, though its item and ability choices varied: White Herb with Unburden for SomeoneOffical, Grassy Seed with Pressure for LuanVGC, and Grassy Seed with Unburden for MonkeyT.
Raichu also had a strong showing, with SomeoneOffical using Raichunite X and MonkeyT using Raichunite Y. Both carried Lightning Rod and Fake Out, reinforcing how valuable redirection immunity and tempo tools were among the highest finishers. Garchomp appeared on both LuanVGC’s and MonkeyT’s teams, but with different builds: Choice Scarf Rough Skin with physical attacks for LuanVGC, and Garchompite Z Rough Skin with special attacks for MonkeyT.
The item trends were just as notable. Miracle Seed Rillaboom was the most consistent repeated package in the top four, while Leftovers appeared on Archaludon, Incineroar, and Umbreon. Focus Sash was used on SomeoneOffical’s Basculegion ♀ and Titouzerr’s Vivillon, supporting either fast offense or disruption.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for rain pressure, Miracle Seed Rillaboom, and Sneasler variants when building for Regulation Set M-C.
