Thalera Champions Cheese #19 - POKÉMONAS results recap

Thalera Champions Cheese #19 - POKÉMONAS was a 15-player online event on Limitless, played in Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C on 2026-10-23. The final round was aerxdri vs cale, with aerxdri taking the win and finishing first at 7-1-0.

Place Player Record Team
1 aerxdri [BR] 7-1-0 Delphox, Indeedee ♀, Sneasler, Primarina, Hatterene, Mawile
2 Cale [BR] 5-3-0 Primarina, Mawile, Indeedee ♀, Sneasler, Meowscarada, Gardevoir
3 erichmr [BR] 5-2-0 Delphox, Primarina, Indeedee ♀, Hatterene, Alcremie, Mawile
4 PedroSlz [BR] 4-3-0 Meowscarada, Milotic, Indeedee ♀, Hatterene, Mawile, Sneasler

aerxdri’s winning team was built around a clear Psychic Terrain core, with Indeedee ♀ providing Psychic Surge plus Follow Me, Helping Hand, Imprison, and Trick Room. That support enabled multiple offensive routes. Sneasler used Psychic Seed and Unburden with Swords Dance, Close Combat, and Poison Jab, giving the team a fast physical threat once the Seed activated. Hatterene added Life Orb, Magic Bounce, Expanding Force, Dazzling Gleam, and Trick Room, making it both a Trick Room setter and a direct attacker under the same terrain structure.

The team also had strong special pressure outside of Hatterene. Delphox carried Delphoxite with Heat Wave, Nasty Plot, and Psyshock, while Primarina used Sitrus Berry, Liquid Voice, Hyper Voice, Calm Mind, and Moonblast. Mawile rounded out the six with Mawilite, Hyper Cutter, Play Rough, Iron Head, and Rock Slide. Overall, aerxdri’s composition had several ways to scale damage through Nasty Plot, Swords Dance, and Calm Mind, while still having Protect on five of the six Pokemon for positioning.

The top cut of the standings showed a very concentrated metagame. Indeedee ♀ appeared on all of the top eight teams, always with Psychic Surge, and most lists paired it with Follow Me, Helping Hand, and Trick Room. Hatterene was also common, appearing on five of the top eight teams, each time using Life Orb and Magic Bounce with Expanding Force, Dazzling Gleam, Trick Room, and Protect in some order.

Mawile was another major fixture, appearing on six of the top eight teams. Most of those used Mawilite, though gdftgf019 instead used Focus Sash. Primarina appeared on four of the top six teams, with Liquid Voice and Hyper Voice as the consistent offensive identity. Sneasler was present on seven of the top eight teams, most often with Psychic Seed and Unburden, though PedroSlz used Focus Sash and Poison Touch.

Delphoxite also had a strong showing near the top, appearing on aerxdri, erichmr, CSNChris, and Whayron. The repeated Delphox structures leaned on Blaze with Timid, commonly combining Heat Wave with either Nasty Plot, Calm Mind, Imprison, Psychic, or Psyshock depending on the team.

Takeaway for ladder players: prepare specifically for Indeedee ♀ Psychic Surge structures, because the top teams repeatedly used them to enable Sneasler, Hatterene, Mawile, and strong spread attackers.
