| Place | Player | Record | Team |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Vgcorner | 8-0-0 | Gengar, Rillaboom, Incineroar, Primarina, Vivillon, Garchomp |
| 2 | KST| KAMPFI [DE] | 6-2-0 | Eternal Flower Floette, Sneasler, Incineroar, Sinistcha, Kingambit, Garchomp |
| 3 | BIO [MX] | 5-2-0 | Charizard, Pelipper, Venusaur, Grimmsnarl, Archaludon, Garchomp |
| 4 | Shaggy96 [BR] | 5-2-0 | Basculegion ♀, Raichu, Pelipper, Archaludon, Golisopod, Sneasler |
Vgcorner’s winning team was built around layered control and multiple ways to force awkward board states. Gengar carried Gengarite with Shadow Ball, Perish Song, Sludge Bomb, and Protect, while Primarina added a second Perish Song user alongside Moonblast, Hyper Voice, and Protect. That gave the team a clear endgame plan: establish board stability, trade time with Protect, and make opponents play under Perish Song pressure.
The support structure made that plan much easier to execute. Rillaboom brought Miracle Seed, Grassy Surge, Grassy Glide, U-turn, Fake Out, and Protect, giving the team priority pressure and pivoting. Incineroar added Leftovers, Intimidate, Flare Blitz, Parting Shot, Fake Out, and Protect, stacking more tempo control with another Fake Out user and a second pivoting option. Vivillon was a major disruption piece with Focus Sash, Compound Eyes, Hurricane, Sleep Powder, Rage Powder, and Protect, providing both redirection and sleep pressure. The sixth slot, Garchomp with Garchompite Z, Rough Skin, Modest, Draco Meteor, Earth Power, Power Gem, and Protect, gave the team a special attacking profile that matched the Garchomp sets also seen elsewhere near the top.
Across the top standings, Garchomp was one of the defining picks. It appeared on the first three teams, with Vgcorner and KST| KAMPFI [DE] both using Garchompite Z special sets featuring Draco Meteor, Earth Power, Power Gem, and Protect. BIO [MX] instead used Choice Scarf Garchomp with Stomping Tantrum, Earthquake, Dragon Claw, and Rock Slide. Garchomp also appeared at #7 with another Garchompite Z special set.
Incineroar and Rillaboom remained prominent glue pieces. Incineroar appeared on the winning team, the runner-up team, #5, and #8, almost always combining Intimidate with Fake Out and Parting Shot. Rillaboom appeared on #1, #6, #7, and #8, with Grassy Surge and Fake Out showing up repeatedly alongside Grassy Glide.
Focus Sash was another major trend. Vgcorner used it on Vivillon, KST| KAMPFI [DE] used it on Sneasler, BIO [MX] used it on Venusaur, and Shaggy96 [BR] used it on Basculegion ♀. The top four also showed two Pelipper plus Archaludon combinations, with BIO [MX] and Shaggy96 [BR] both pairing Drizzle support with Leftovers Archaludon.
Takeaway for ladder players: if your team cannot handle Fake Out cycling, Garchomp pressure, and Perish Song positioning, Vgcorner’s winning structure shows how quickly Regulation Set M-C games can be locked down.
