Shaymin Showdown results: Duckoooo wins Regulation Set M-C

Shaymin Showdown was a 26-player online tournament on Limitless, played on 2026-10-14 in Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C. Duckoooo finished first at 6-2-0, winning the reported final round matches over orewa_dev and hrishi, while kiri99 also picked up a final round win over babylady.

Place Player Record Team
1 Duckoooo [IN] 6-2-0 Garchomp, Kingambit, Sneasler, Sinistcha, Incineroar, Eternal Flower Floette
2 AdityaKS [IN] 7-1-0 Gengar, Incineroar, Primarina, Sneasler, Kingambit, Vivillon
3 Orewa_Dev [IN] 5-2-0 Charizard, Eternal Flower Floette, Basculegion, Sneasler, Kingambit, Mamoswine
4 Kiri99 [IN] 5-2-0 Garchomp, Eternal Flower Floette, Volcarona, Sneasler, Incineroar, Basculegion

Duckoooo’s winning team was built around layered board control rather than a single obvious mode. Garchomp held Garchompite with Rough Skin and an Adamant nature, giving the team a physical attacker with Dragon Claw, Rock Slide, and Stomping Tantrum alongside Protect. Kingambit added a second hard physical threat, using Chople Berry, Defiant, Kowtow Cleave, Iron Head, Sucker Punch, and Protect to threaten damage while still respecting Fighting coverage.

The support structure was the clearest strength of the composition. Sneasler provided Focus Sash Fake Out pressure, Dire Claw disruption, Coaching, and Close Combat, with Unburden giving it strong tempo once the sash was consumed. Incineroar brought the familiar Intimidate package with Flare Blitz, Fake Out, Parting Shot, and Helping Hand, while Leftovers gave it a more persistent role than the Sitrus Berry versions seen elsewhere. Sinistcha rounded out the control core with Sitrus Berry, Hospitality, Matcha Gotcha, Rage Powder, Trick Room, and Protect. That gave Duckoooo redirection, healing utility, speed control reversal, and Fake Out support all in one six.

Eternal Flower Floette was the team’s second stone user, holding Floettite with Flower Veil and a Timid Calm Mind set of Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast, and Protect. Across the team, Duckoooo could pressure with Garchomp and Kingambit, slow the game with Sinistcha and Incineroar, or create openings through Fake Out plus Coaching.

The top standings showed several clear patterns. Sneasler appeared on each of the top four teams, with Focus Sash on Duckoooo and AdityaKS, and White Herb on Orewa_Dev and Kiri99. Kingambit was also on the top three teams, with Chople Berry, Black Glasses, and Life Orb all represented. Incineroar appeared on first, second, and fourth, always with Intimidate and Fake Out, but with different item choices between Leftovers and Sitrus Berry.

Eternal Flower Floette was another major presence, appearing on three of the top four teams with Floettite and Flower Veil. Garchomp showed up on both Duckoooo and Kiri99, though Duckoooo used Garchompite with an Adamant physical set, while Kiri99 used Garchompite Z with a Modest special set. Basculegion was shared by Orewa_Dev and Kiri99, both using Adaptability and the same core attacks of Last Respects, Wave Crash, Aqua Jet, and Protect.

Takeaway for ladder players: the strongest Shaymin Showdown teams combined immediate Fake Out pressure with durable redirection or pivot support, then backed it up with reliable late-game attackers like Kingambit, Garchomp, Eternal Flower Floette, or Basculegion.
