Place Player Record Team
1 georgprime 7-2-0 Blastoise, Venusaur, Incineroar, Farigiraf, Rillaboom, Torkoal
2 Vuultur [PL] 8-1-0 Rillaboom, Sneasler, Incineroar, Eternal Flower Floette, Kingambit, Garchomp
3 AndreVGC [IT] 6-2-0 Raichu, Staraptor, Rillaboom, Hisuian Arcanine, Primarina, Gholdengo
4 Peppe [IT] 5-3-0 Gholdengo, Volcarona, Garchomp, Incineroar, Rillaboom, Raichu

georgprime’s winning team was built around flexible speed and weather control rather than a single linear mode. Blastoise with Blastoisinite, Torrent, Modest nature, Water Spout, Shell Smash, Dark Pulse, and Fake Out gave the team a direct offensive centerpiece that could also contribute to positioning. Farigiraf was a major enabler, carrying Sitrus Berry, Armor Tail, Psychic, Helping Hand, Trick Room, and Rain Dance. That set offered protection from priority, damage amplification, a slower mode, and a manual weather option.

The rest of the team supported that flexibility. Torkoal with Charcoal, Drought, Weather Ball, Eruption, Heat Wave, and Protect gave georgprime a second heavy damage source and an opposing weather answer. Venusaur paired naturally with Drought through Chlorophyll, while Focus Sash, Sleep Powder, Sludge Bomb, Earth Power, and Protect made it both disruptive and threatening. Incineroar and Rillaboom formed the familiar positioning core: Intimidate plus Fake Out from Incineroar, Grassy Surge plus Fake Out and Grassy Glide from Rillaboom. Notably, Blastoise also had Fake Out, giving the team three Fake Out users and plenty of ways to buy turns for Shell Smash, Trick Room, Sleep Powder, or Eruption pressure.

Across the top standings, Rillaboom was the defining repeat pick. It appeared on each of the top four teams, always with Miracle Seed and Grassy Surge, and always carrying Fake Out alongside some combination of Wood Hammer, Grassy Glide, U-turn, and High Horsepower. Incineroar was also heavily represented, appearing on the first, second, and fourth-place teams, with Intimidate and Fake Out anchoring defensive positioning.

Raichu with Raichunite Y, Lightning Rod, Timid nature, Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, Fake Out, and Protect showed up on both AndreVGC [IT]’s third-place team and Peppe [IT]’s fourth-place team, and the same structure appeared again lower in the standings. Gholdengo was another top-four repeat, with Life Orb, Good as Gold, Shadow Ball, Nasty Plot, Make It Rain, and Protect on both AndreVGC [IT] and Peppe [IT]. Garchomp was common as well, with Garchompite on Vuultur [PL] and Garchompite Z on Peppe [IT], reflecting how much value top teams placed on a strong Ground-type attacker.

Takeaway for ladder players: prioritize positioning tools like Fake Out, Intimidate, Grassy Surge, and flexible speed control before committing to your main damage plan.
