xuanivgc’s winning team is built around immediate pressure with multiple forms of speed and positioning control. Sneasler with Psychic Seed and Unburden pairs naturally with Indeedee’s Psychic Surge, giving the team a fast physical attacker with Dire Claw, Close Combat, Rock Slide, and Protect. Indeedee’s Choice Scarf set adds Expanding Force pressure while also carrying Trick and Trick Room, giving it ways to disrupt opposing speed plans.
Charizard with Charizardite Y and solar power supplied spread offense through Weather Ball and Heat Wave, while Ancient Power and Protect rounded out the set. Incineroar handled the familiar glue role with Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, Flare Blitz, Darkest Lariat, and Parting Shot. Garchomp added Life Orb physical damage with Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Stomping Tantrum, and Protect, while Raichu with Raichunite Y and Lightning Rod gave the team another Fake Out user plus Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, and Protect.
Across the top cut, Raichu was one of the clearest trends. The top three teams all used Raichu with Raichunite Y, Lightning Rod, Timid, Fake Out, Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, and Protect appearing across those sets in varying order. Fake Out in general was heavily represented among the leading teams, with Incineroar, Raichu, and Rillaboom all appearing in the top three.
Psychic Terrain structures also had a strong showing. xuanivgc and MysticTactician both used Indeedee with Psychic Surge alongside Sneasler with Psychic Seed and Unburden, though the Indeedee items differed between Choice Scarf and Twisted Spoon. MysticTactician also used Sneasler with Psychic Seed, Close Combat, Dire Claw, Throat Chop, and Protect.
The 3-1 group showed several shared cores and item choices. BigNation and MysticTactician both brought Salamence with Salamencite, Gholdengo with Life Orb, and Milotic with Leftovers. Sitrus Berry appeared on xuanivgc’s Incineroar, BigNation’s Incineroar, and alt24’s Farigiraf. Rillaboom with Grassy Surge appeared on both BigNation and alt24, using Fake Out and Grassy Glide as common utility and priority tools.
