Thalera Champions Cheese #16 - Tigrinho Edition was an 18-player online event on Limitless, played in Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-B on 2026-09-18. The final round came down to neves vs aerxdri, with aerxdri taking the win and finishing first at 7-1-0.

Place Player Record Team
1 aerxdri [BR] 7-1-0 Metagross, Cinderace, Meowscarada, Vivillon, Inteleon, Garchomp
2 Neves [BR] 7-1-0 Vivillon, Politoed, Swampert, Basculegion ♀, Inteleon, Aerodactyl
3 erichmr [BR] 5-2-0 Hisuian Arcanine, Tyranitar, Milotic, Metagross, Lucario, Garchomp
4 Smicer2566 [BR] 4-3-0 Tyranitar, Garchomp, Tsareena, Delphox, Milotic, Klefki

aerxdri’s winning team was built around strong immediate pressure with several flexible attackers and multiple forms of disruption. Metagross held Metagrossite with Clear Body and an Adamant nature, carrying Meteor Mash, Zen Headbutt, Rock Slide, and Hammer Arm. That gave the team a sturdy physical centerpiece with spread damage through Rock Slide and direct Steel- and Psychic-type pressure.

Cinderace added Life Orb Libero offense with Pyro Ball, Gunk Shot, High Jump Kick, and Will-O-Wisp, while Meowscarada used Choice Scarf Protean with Triple Axel, Play Rough, Leaf Storm, and Giga Impact. Those two picks gave aerxdri fast, type-flexible attacking options that could pressure a wide range of opposing compositions.

The support package was especially important. Vivillon ran Focus Sash, Compound Eyes, and Timid with Hurricane, Sleep Powder, String Shot, and Stun Spore. Between Sleep Powder, String Shot, and Stun Spore, aerxdri had several ways to interfere with opposing speed and tempo. Inteleon contributed more speed control and Water damage with Mystic Water Torrent, Hydro Pump, Icy Wind, Muddy Water, and Hydro Cannon. Garchomp rounded out the team with Garchompite Z, Rough Skin, and a Rash nature, using Draco Meteor, Fire Blast, Stone Edge, and Rock Tomb.

Across the top teams, Vivillon was one of the clearest shared picks. aerxdri, Neves, Cale, and PedroSlz all used Vivillon, and every listed Vivillon carried Sleep Powder. Focus Sash Vivillon appeared on aerxdri, Cale, and PedroSlz, while Neves used Choice Scarf Vivillon. Compound Eyes was present on all four.

Garchomp was another major trend, appearing on aerxdri, erichmr, Smicer2566, DARKTUGA, Nelsonsgj, and Cale. Its item choices varied, including Garchompite Z, Bright Powder, and Life Orb, but Rock Slide or other Rock coverage appeared frequently on those sets. Sand structures were also common: Tyranitar with Sand Stream appeared on erichmr, Smicer2566, DARKTUGA, Nelsonsgj, and Cale, often alongside Garchomp or Excadrill.

Water offense also had a strong showing near the top. Neves used Politoed with Drizzle, Swampert with Swift Swim, Basculegion ♀ with Swift Swim, and Inteleon, while aerxdri also included Inteleon. Muddy Water and Icy Wind were repeated tools across several teams, giving both spread damage and speed control options.

For ladder players: prepare for Vivillon disruption, Garchomp pressure, and weather-backed speed control before building for Regulation Set M-B.
