Zeeb’s winning team was built around proactive speed control and layered offensive pressure. Whimsicott gave the team a clear Tailwind mode with Prankster, while Mental Herb helped it get its support turns through. Encore, Moonblast, Protect, and Tailwind made it more than a one-button lead, especially alongside threats that could immediately punish passive turns.
Charizard with Charizardite Y was the most direct special attacker, carrying Weather Ball, Solar Beam, Heat Wave, and Protect with a Modest nature. Garchomp added physical spread pressure with Life Orb, Rough Skin, Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Rock Slide, and Protect. Mawile with Mawilite supplied a slower but dangerous setup angle through Swords Dance, backed by Play Rough and Sucker Punch. Hisuian Zoroark rounded out the offense with Focus Sash, Illusion, Nasty Plot, Hyper Voice, Bitter Malice, and Protect, giving Zeeb another way to threaten damage while complicating board reads. Incineroar was the stabilizer, using Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, Parting Shot, Flare Blitz, and Darkest Lariat to create safer positioning for the team’s attackers.
Across the top teams, Incineroar remained a major presence. Zeeb, SoulVGC [IT], Madelicia [BR], and DaveyOnAddy [US] all used Incineroar with Sitrus Berry and Intimidate, and every listed Incineroar carried Fake Out and Parting Shot. Sneasler was another repeated support attacker near the top, appearing on SoulVGC [IT], Madelicia [BR], and MetalLegsSolid [CA], with Focus Sash showing up on each of those Sneasler sets.
Sinistcha also had a strong showing, appearing on SoulVGC [IT], Madelicia [BR], MetalLegsSolid [CA], Amoney5 [US], and Jonnycat [US]. Its common package of Hospitality, Rage Powder, Matcha Gotcha, and Trick Room or Protect gave several teams redirection and defensive utility. Sitrus Berry and Leftovers were frequent item choices across the standings, while Charizardite Y, Dragoninite, Venusaurite, and other signature stones showed how central those dedicated attackers were to many builds.
Takeaway for ladder players: prioritize teams that can combine immediate speed control, Fake Out positioning, and at least one strong setup or spread-damage threat.
