Wb_vg’s winning team was built around flexible weather pressure. Charizard with Charizardite Y, Heat Wave, Weather Ball, and Solar Beam gave the team immediate special damage, while Pelipper added Drizzle, Tailwind, Wide Guard, Hurricane, and its own Weather Ball. That pairing made the team difficult to pin to a single mode, especially with Venusaur carrying Chlorophyll, Focus Sash, Sleep Powder, Sludge Bomb, and Earth Power as a fast disruption and damage option.

The rest of the composition supported that plan with strong defensive pacing. Archaludon used Leftovers, Stamina, Protect, Electro Shot, Dragon Pulse, and Flash Cannon, giving the team a sturdy special attacker that could stay on the field. Swampert with Swampertite, Wave Crash, Earthquake, and Ice Punch gave the roster a physical attacker that fit beside the weather structure. Grimmsnarl rounded everything out with Light Clay, Prankster, Reflect, Light Screen, Parting Shot, and Spirit Break, making it easier for the weather attackers to take turns and trade favorably.

Across the top teams, several patterns stood out. Kingambit was the most visible repeated threat near the top, appearing on SuperDialga’s second-place team with Black Glasses, dewdrop’s third-place team with Life Orb, Sooner’s fourth-place team with Black Glasses, Karissel’s fifth-place team with Chople Berry, and glitterckvamp’s seventh-place team with Chople Berry. Basculegion was also heavily represented, appearing on the teams of SuperDialga, dewdrop, Sooner, and Mcteage, with Choice Scarf on three of those builds and Sitrus Berry on dewdrop’s version.

Tailwind remained a major speed-control choice. Pelipper supplied it for Wb_vg, while Whimsicott appeared on SuperDialga, Sooner, and Karissel, all with Focus Sash and Prankster. Talonflame also brought Tailwind on elemunzi’s eighth-place team. Focus Sash was common across the field, showing up on Venusaur, Whimsicott, Lycanroc Dusk, and Mamoswine among the listed teams.

Weather and screen support were also clear themes. Wb_vg and Mcteage shared the Charizard, Pelipper, Venusaur, Grimmsnarl, and Archaludon structure, while Karissel used Charizard alongside Alolan Ninetales. Froslass brought Snow Warning and Aurora Veil on dewdrop’s team, giving another example of weather tied directly to defensive support.
