aerxdri’s winning team was built around layered support and multiple setup or damage angles. Delphox held Delphoxite with Blaze and a Timid nature, using Protect, Heat Wave, Nasty Plot, and Psychic. That gave the team a direct special attacker that could either pressure immediately with Heat Wave or look for a Nasty Plot turn.
The rest of the composition supplied plenty of ways to create those turns. Raichu carried Raichunite Y, Lightning Rod, Volt Switch, Zap Cannon, Helping Hand, and Fake Out. Scrafty added Scraftinite, Intimidate, Drain Punch, Throat Chop, Quick Guard, and Fake Out. Clefable brought Clefablite with Magic Guard, Protect, Moonblast, Follow Me, and Helping Hand. Between double Fake Out, Follow Me, Helping Hand, and Quick Guard, aerxdri had several ways to control the pace before committing to damage.
Garchomp was the physical centerpiece, using Garchompite, Rough Skin, a Jolly nature, and Protect, Dragon Claw, Stomping Tantrum, and Rock Slide. Eternal Flower Floette rounded the six with Floettite, Flower Veil, a Bold nature, Protect, Draining Kiss, Calm Mind, and Dazzling Gleam, giving the team another setup option and a spread Fairy attack.
Across the top teams, Garchomp was the clearest repeated pick. It appeared on the first, second, third, fifth, sixth, and seventh-place teams, usually with Garchompite and Rough Skin, and most lists paired Dragon Claw with either Earthquake or Stomping Tantrum plus Rock Slide. Eternal Flower Floette was also heavily represented, appearing on the first, second, third, fifth, and seventh-place teams, while Mrliip used Floette with Floettite in sixth.
