Dominik_KyloRen’s winning team was a rain-based composition with multiple ways to keep the weather plan active. Pelipper brought Drizzle, Focus Sash, Tailwind, and Wide Guard, giving the team both speed control and protection into spread-heavy boards. Sableye added Prankster support with Rain Dance, Reflect, Light Screen, and Quash, making the team less dependent on Pelipper staying on the field.
The main offensive structure was Swampert, Archaludon, and Raichu. Swampert held Swampertite and used Earthquake, Protect, Ice Punch, and Wave Crash, giving the team direct physical pressure. Archaludon with Leftovers, Stamina, and Electro Shot fit naturally beside the rain mode while also carrying Aura Sphere, Flash Cannon, and Protect. Raichu was the more unusual closer: Raichunite Y with Lightning Rod, Fake Out, Protect, Zap Cannon, and Grass Knot provided disruption and electric redirection. Hisuian Zoroark rounded out the six with Choice Scarf, Illusion, Bitter Malice, Hyper Voice, Icy Wind, and Trick, giving the team another speed-control angle and a way to interfere with opposing items.
The clearest trend near the top was the Swampert / Pelipper / Archaludon shell. It appeared on the champion’s team, TitanoPigro3’s fourth-place team, and Jhinting’s sixth-place team, with the same broad idea of Drizzle support, Tailwind, Wide Guard, Swampertite Swampert, and Leftovers Stamina Archaludon using Electro Shot.
Another major cluster was around Kingambit, Eternal Flower Floette, and Garchomp. januo and Sanaito both used all three, while Garchomp also appeared on HighHonorsJacob, Maciejka9210, and Alexermon. Kingambit sets varied by item, including Chople Berry, Black Glasses, and Focus Sash, but Sucker Punch, Kowtow Cleave, and Iron Head were consistent parts of its role.
Support items were also concentrated. Focus Sash showed up on Pelipper, Whimsicott, Vivillon, Maushold, Hisuian Zoroark, and Kingambit across the listed teams. Leftovers was specifically tied to Archaludon on the rain cores, while Light Clay appeared on Sableye screens sets from Dominik_KyloRen and HighHonorsJacob. Tailwind was common through Pelipper, Whimsicott, Aerodactyl, and other support slots.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for rain cores built around Swampert, Pelipper, and Archaludon, but do not ignore Kingambit, Eternal Flower Floette, and Garchomp balance structures.
