Pazitas won with a clean Drizzle offense built around Pelipper, Swampert, and Archaludon, backed by two layers of positioning support. Pelipper’s Sitrus Berry / Drizzle / Modest set carried Weather Ball, Hurricane, Tailwind, and Wide Guard, giving the team immediate weather, speed control, and spread-move protection. Swampert with Swampertite / Torrent / Adamant supplied direct physical pressure through Wave Crash, Earthquake, and Ice Punch, while Protect kept it flexible in double-target situations.

Archaludon was the other major beneficiary of the rain structure. With Leftovers / Stamina / Modest and Dragon Pulse, Flash Cannon, Electro Shot, and Protect, it gave Pazitas a durable special attacker that could stay on the field and punish passive turns. The rest of the team made that core harder to break. Sinistcha with Coba Berry / Hospitality / Bold provided Rage Powder, Life Dew, and Protect around Matcha Gotcha, while Grimmsnarl used Light Clay / Prankster / Careful with Reflect, Light Screen, Parting Shot, and Foul Play to reduce incoming damage and reset board states. Metagross with Metagrossite / Clear Body / Jolly rounded out the six with Psychic Fangs, Iron Head, Body Press, and Protect, adding another physical attacker and a way to pressure through screens with Psychic Fangs.

The runner-up team from 100Cheveux was notably close to the winning composition. It also used Pelipper, Swampert, Archaludon, Sinistcha, and Metagross, but its sixth slot was Incineroar with Shuca Berry / Intimidate / Careful, Fake Out, Will-O-Wisp, Darkest Lariat, and Parting Shot. That gave the team more Intimidate and Fake Out utility, while Pazitas instead used Grimmsnarl’s dual screens.

Across the top standings, rain and sun both had strong representation. Pelipper, Swampert, and Archaludon appeared together on the first- and second-place teams, with another Pelipper plus Swampert core at fifth. Metagrossite appeared on first, second, and sixth, while Swampertite appeared on first, second, and fifth. On the other side of the weather split, Torkoal and Farigiraf appeared on both third and fourth, and Torkoal also showed up on Smogolem’s seventh-place team. Common support patterns were also clear: Sitrus Berry appeared repeatedly, Farigiraf used Armor Tail and Trick Room, and multiple teams leaned on Fake Out users such as Incineroar, Kangaskhan, Scrafty, and Sneasler.

Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for both Pelipper rain cores and Torkoal Trick Room structures, and do not ignore screen-based positioning support.
