Samuel T’s winning team was built around a very direct rain-leaning structure. Pelipper brought Drizzle, Weather Ball, Hurricane, Tailwind, and Wide Guard, giving the team both speed control and important spread-move protection. Swampert with Swampertite handled the physical attacking role with Wave Crash, Earthquake, Ice Punch, and Protect, while Archaludon with Leftovers and Stamina added a durable special attacker using Electro Shot, Dragon Pulse, Flash Cannon, and Protect.
The rest of the team gave the composition more flexibility than a simple weather offense. Focus Sash was common on Sneasler, Pelipper, Kingambit, Vileplume, and Hisuian Arcanine. Life Orb appeared on Kangaskhan, Garchomp, Pelipper, and Gholdengo, while Leftovers was consistently tied to Archaludon on the rain-style builds.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare specifically for Pelipper, Swampert, and Archaludon cores, but do not ignore Trick Room sun teams with Farigiraf and Torkoal.
