🍬 CARAMELO RARO — WEEKLY #4 was a 26-player online Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C event played on Limitless on 2026-10-25. The final round results listed earthman over konnichiwonnor, konnichiwonnor over jefflin0518, and earthman over andyvgc22, while the final standings were led by Adryan Zein S [ID] at 5-1-0.
| Place | Player | Record | Team |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Adryan Zein S [ID] | 5-1-0 | Salamence, Raichu, Rillaboom, Sneasler, Kingambit, Basculegion |
| 2 | Connor Sparks [US] | 5-1-0 | Blaziken, Kingambit, Aerodactyl, Primarina, Farigiraf, Torkoal |
| 3 | Andres Estrada [MX] | 3-2-0 | Charizard, Venusaur, Archaludon, Pelipper, Grimmsnarl, Garchomp |
| 4 | Yu-Cheng Lin [TW] | 3-2-0 | Gengar, Politoed, Vivillon, Rillaboom, Incineroar, Archaludon |
Adryan’s winning team is built around layered speed control and immediate offensive pressure. Salamence with Salamencite supplies Tailwind while also threatening damage through Hyper Voice and Draco Meteor. Raichu with Raichunite Y adds Lightning Rod support, Fake Out pressure, and coverage from Zap Cannon and Focus Blast. That gives the team multiple ways to create safe turns without relying on only one mode.
The Rillaboom and Sneasler pairing is a major part of the structure. Rillaboom brings Grassy Surge, Miracle Seed-boosted Wood Hammer and Grassy Glide, plus Fake Out and High Horsepower. Sneasler holds Grassy Seed with Unburden, giving the team a fast attacker that can use Rock Slide, Close Combat, Dire Claw, and Protect once its item is consumed. This makes the team comfortable playing from both positional disruption and raw speed.
The back end is similarly direct. Kingambit uses Life Orb with Defiant, Swords Dance, Kowtow Cleave, and Sucker Punch, giving Adryan a strong punish option into stat drops and a clear endgame threat. Basculegion with Choice Scarf and Adaptability adds Flip Turn, Wave Crash, Last Respects, and Aqua Jet, giving the team a fast pivot and late-game damage source. Overall, the six are cohesive: Fake Out, Tailwind, Unburden, Choice Scarf, and priority all appear on the same roster.
Across the top four, several trends stood out. Kingambit appeared on both 5-1-0 teams, though with different items: Life Orb for Adryan and Focus Sash for Connor Sparks. Rillaboom appeared in first and fourth, both with Miracle Seed, Grassy Surge, Adamant, Fake Out, and Grassy Glide. Archaludon appeared in both third and fourth with Leftovers and Stamina, and both versions carried Protect, Electro Shot, and Dragon Pulse.
Weather also had a strong presence. Andres Estrada used Charizard with Charizardite Y alongside Pelipper with Drizzle, while Yu-Cheng Lin used Politoed with Drizzle. Connor Sparks included Torkoal with Drought. Weather Ball appeared on Charizard, Pelipper, Politoed, and Torkoal across the top four, making it one of the clearest repeated move choices. Focus Sash also showed up on Kingambit, Venusaur, and Vivillon, while Sitrus Berry appeared on Farigiraf, Pelipper, and Politoed.
Takeaway for ladder players: build with multiple speed plans, because the top teams combined Tailwind, priority, Choice Scarf, Unburden, weather, and Trick Room rather than depending on one route.
