| 2 | Pomelo [CN] | 4-1-0 | Armarouge, Indeedee ♀, Salamence, Tyranitar, Excadrill, Sneasler |

| 4 | ElectricKing [US] | 3-2-0 | Salamence, Rillaboom, Incineroar, Gholdengo, Basculegion, Sylveon |
NatMay’s winning team blended immediate pressure, priority, and setup. Hisuian Arcanine used Focus Sash with Rock Head to support high-damage Flare Blitz and Head Smash, while Extreme Speed gave the team another way to pick off targets outside of normal speed order. Rillaboom added the familiar Grassy Surge package with Fake Out, Grassy Glide, Wood Hammer, and High Horsepower, giving NatMay both positioning and strong priority pressure.
The special attacking core was also difficult to ignore. Gholdengo carried Life Orb with Nasty Plot, Make It Rain, and Shadow Ball, giving the team a clear snowball threat if it found a protected turn. Primarina used Leftovers with Calm Mind, Hyper Voice, and Moonblast, offering a more gradual win condition. Staraptor supplied Intimidate and Tailwind from the Staraptite slot, while Raichu with Raichunite Y, Lightning Rod, Fake Out, Zap Cannon, and Focus Blast rounded out the team’s support and disruption.
Across the top standings, several patterns stood out. Salamence was common near the top, appearing on Pomelo, ElectricKing, marcos_boomin, and 1vwl, always with Salamencite and Intimidate in the provided teams. Rillaboom was another major presence, appearing on NatMay, ElectricKing, marcos_boomin, Uncreative7452, and 1vwl, with Grassy Surge, Adamant, Fake Out, Grassy Glide, and High Horsepower showing up repeatedly.
Gholdengo also had a consistent profile. NatMay, ElectricKing, and Uncreative7452 all used Gholdengo with Life Orb, Good as Gold, Make It Rain, Nasty Plot, Shadow Ball, and Protect. Sand was another recurring route: Pomelo, marcos_boomin, and 1vwl all paired Tyranitarite Tyranitar with Focus Sash Excadrill and Sand Rush. Sneasler appeared on Pomelo, IcyyPhoenix, Sortikun, and Uncreative7452, with several different item choices including Psychic Seed, Electric Seed, Focus Sash, and Grassy Seed.
Takeaway for ladder players: prioritize teams with layered speed control, Fake Out pressure, and at least one clear damage engine such as Life Orb Gholdengo, sand, or weather-supported attackers.
