| Place | Player | Record | Team |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | babylady [IN] | 6-1-0 | Whimsicott, Charizard, Basculegion, Kingambit, Sneasler, Garchomp |
| 2 | Lixard [IN] | 5-2-0 | Charizard, Staraptor, Glimmora, Gholdengo, Garchomp, Whimsicott |
| 3 | Yugansh [IN] | 5-1-0 | Archaludon, Raichu, Sneasler, Pelipper, Golisopod, Basculegion ♀ |
| 4 | Rajvikramop099 [IN] | 4-2-0 | Golisopod, Basculegion ♀, Archaludon, Sneasler, Pelipper, Raichu |
babylady’s winning team was a direct Tailwind offense built around immediate pressure and layered priority. Whimsicott held Focus Sash with Prankster and carried Protect, Encore, Moonblast, and Tailwind, giving the team reliable speed control and a disruptive option into slower or more setup-oriented lines. Charizard used Charizardite Y with Weather Ball, Protect, Heat Wave, and Solar Beam, giving the team a spread damage centerpiece alongside strong single-target coverage.
The rest of the team kept that pressure high. Basculegion used Mystic Water and Adaptability with Wave Crash, Last Respects, Aqua Jet, and Protect, adding a physical Water attacker with priority. Kingambit’s Chople Berry set brought Defiant plus Sucker Punch, Iron Head, Kowtow Cleave, and Low Kick, making it another source of priority while also threatening opposing Dark- and Steel-weak targets. Sneasler’s White Herb and Unburden set with Close Combat, Dire Claw, Rock Tomb, and Protect gave babylady another fast attacker, while Life Orb Garchomp rounded the team out with Rock Slide, Earthquake, Dragon Claw, and Protect.
Across the top cut, several patterns stood out. Charizard and Whimsicott both appeared on the top two teams, and both teams also included Garchomp. That suggests a clear place for Tailwind-based offense in this event, with Charizard providing Heat Wave and Weather Ball pressure while Garchomp supplied Ground- and Rock-type coverage through Earthquake, Stomping Tantrum, or Rock Slide depending on the set.
There was also a strong rain-style cluster among the next group of teams. Yugansh, rajvikramop099, and Rulervgc all used the same six Pokemon: Archaludon, Raichu, Sneasler, Pelipper, Golisopod, and Basculegion ♀. The details were also very close, with Leftovers Archaludon, Raichunite X Raichu, Golisopite Golisopod, Electric Seed Sneasler on Yugansh and rajvikramop099, and Focus Sash Basculegion ♀ appearing repeatedly. Pelipper’s Drizzle supported those teams, with Wide Guard, Hurricane, Weather Ball, and Helping Hand appearing on the top-four Pelipper sets.
Sneasler was one of the most common attackers near the top, appearing on the champion’s team and on the third- and fourth-place teams, as well as several lower top-eight teams. Basculegion also had a strong showing, appearing on the first-, third-, fourth-, and sixth-place teams in either Basculegion or Basculegion ♀ form. Focus Sash was another repeated item, showing up on Whimsicott, Glimmora, Basculegion ♀, Pelipper, and Sneasler across the listed standings.
For ladder players, the clean takeaway is to prepare for fast offense backed by Tailwind or Drizzle, especially teams using Sneasler, Basculegion, and strong priority to keep momentum.
