Pokémon.com Shares Regional Prep Advice from Chris Han

Pokémon.com has published a new competitive feature built around Regional Championship preparation, with VGC expert Chris Han as the featured voice. The piece is aimed at players getting ready for live tournament play, where the challenge is not just building a strong team, but making it hold up across a long day of open-sheet doubles rounds.

For PokemonHelper readers, the useful angle is the mindset. Regional prep usually rewards consistency over surprise alone: know your damage ranges, practice common leads, and have a clear plan for the matchups you expect to see most often. That applies directly to Pokémon Champions as well, even if the ruleset differs from current VGC. A Mega-focused format with SP allocation will still punish vague prep, especially when small bulk or Speed choices decide whether a game plan functions.

If you are preparing for any serious doubles event, this is the kind of official competitive content worth checking alongside your own ladder testing and replay review.
