415jason’s winning team was built around a strong Psychic Terrain shell with Indeedee ♀ and two major special attackers. Delphox with Delphoxite, Blaze, Heat Wave, Expanding Force, Nasty Plot, and Protect gave the team a threatening setup route and immediate spread pressure. Blastoise with Blastoisinite, Rain Dish, Shell Smash, Water Spout, Terrain Pulse, and Protect filled a similar role from a different angle, punishing passive turns and creating endgame pressure once boosted.
The support structure was especially clean. Indeedee ♀ carried Rocky Helmet with Psychic Surge, Follow Me, Helping Hand, Terrain Pulse, and Protect, letting the team redirect attacks and amplify damage. Sinistcha added another layer of redirection with Rage Powder while also bringing Trick Room and Hospitality, giving 415jason a way to manage opposing speed plans. Incineroar was the familiar stabilizer, using Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Throat Chop, Flare Blitz, Parting Shot, and Fake Out to slow games down and create safer setup turns. Pawmot rounded out the roster with Focus Sash, Double Shock, Close Combat, Protect, and Revival Blessing, offering both offensive coverage and a way to reset a key attacker.
Across the top cut, Psychic Terrain was a major theme. 415jason and timbucket both used Indeedee ♀ with Rocky Helmet and Psychic Surge, and both paired it with Expanding Force users: Delphox for 415jason and Gardevoir for timbucket. Sneasler also appeared on every team from second through fourth, with Psychic Seed, Grassy Seed, and White Herb variants all using Unburden to threaten fast pressure.
The Grass support cores were also prominent. Rillaboom appeared on LiQ and ProfSkarmoryYT in the top 4, both with Miracle Seed, Grassy Surge, Grassy Glide, Wood Hammer, and Fake Out. That overlapped with repeated Raichu and Volcarona usage on the same two teams, including Raichunite Y Raichu and Flame Body Volcarona. Incineroar remained relevant as well, appearing on the first- and fourth-place teams with Sitrus Berry and Intimidate.
Takeaway for ladder players: the winning formula here was not just raw setup power, but pairing it with multiple redirection options, Fake Out pressure, and a backup speed-control plan.
