| Place | Player | Record | Team |

| 2 | AlvRamrez [CL] | 4-2-0 | Raichu, Staraptor, Hisuian Arcanine, Farigiraf, Sylveon, Kingambit |
| 3 | Jack99 [IT] | 3-2-0 | Sceptile, Heat Rotom, Sneasler, Kingambit, Basculegion, Toxapex |
| 4 | Polvar [IT] | 2-3-0 | Gardevoir, Kingambit, Garchomp, Basculegion, Whimsicott, Charizard |
Zorua228’s winning team was built around immediate pressure with multiple forms of tempo control. Staraptor with Staraptite, Intimidate, Jolly, Brave Bird, Close Combat, Roost, and Protect gave the team a flexible lead that could reduce opposing physical damage while still threatening strong attacks. Hisuian Arcanine added Focus Sash, Rock Head, Flare Blitz, Head Smash, Extreme Speed, and Protect, giving the team a hard-hitting attacker that could also pick off targets with priority.
Kingambit was the team’s main physical closer, using Life Orb, Defiant, Adamant, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Swords Dance, and Protect. Defiant is especially important beside an Intimidate-heavy field, and Swords Dance plus Sucker Punch made it difficult for opponents to ignore. Raichu with Raichunite Y, Lightning Rod, Fake Out, Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, and Protect supplied disruption and electric redirection while still carrying real offensive coverage.
The support core was completed by Farigiraf and Sylveon. Farigiraf’s Sitrus Berry, Armor Tail, Helping Hand, Trick Room, Twin Beam, and Protect gave Zorua228 a way to change speed dynamics or amplify damage. Sylveon with Fairy Feather, Pixilate, Hyper Voice, Hyper Beam, Quick Attack, and Detect added spread damage, burst damage, and another priority option. The result was a team that could pressure quickly, reverse speed with Trick Room, and finish games through priority from Extreme Speed, Sucker Punch, and Quick Attack.
The clearest trend was how closely the top two teams mirrored each other. Zorua228 and AlvRamrez both brought Raichu, Staraptor, Hisuian Arcanine, Farigiraf, Sylveon, and Kingambit, with similar items including Raichunite Y, Staraptite, Focus Sash, Sitrus Berry, Fairy Feather, and Life Orb. Their differences were mostly in move choices, such as Zorua228’s Brave Bird and Roost on Staraptor compared to AlvRamrez’s Dual Wingbeat and Tailwind.
Across the top four, Kingambit appeared on every team, though with different items: Life Orb, Chople Berry, and black glasses. Basculegion also appeared on both Jack99’s and Polvar’s teams with Adaptability, Wave Crash, Last Respects, Aqua Jet, and Protect. Speed control showed up in multiple forms: Trick Room on Farigiraf, Tailwind on Staraptor or Whimsicott, Electroweb from Heat Rotom, and choice scarf users in Heat Rotom and Garchomp.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Kingambit endgames and flexible teams that can switch between Fake Out pressure, priority, and Trick Room.
