Stallcelth’s winning team was built around a strong balance of pressure, setup, and positioning tools. Eternal Flower Floette held Floettite with Flower Veil, using Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Calm Mind, and Protect. That set gave the team a clear special win condition while still applying immediate Fairy-type spread pressure through Dazzling Gleam.
The support shell was straightforward and effective. Sneasler carried Focus Sash, Unburden, Fake Out, Dire Claw, Close Combat, and Protect, giving Stallcelth a fast disruption piece that could also threaten damage. Incineroar used the familiar Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, Flare Blitz, Darkest Lariat, and Parting Shot package, helping manage opposing physical attackers and reset board positions. Sinistcha added Hospitality, Kasib Berry, Matcha Gotcha, Life Dew, Rage Powder, and Trick Room, giving the team healing, redirection, and a way to alter speed control.
The offensive back half was notable as well. Kingambit with Black Glasses and Defiant brought Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Swords Dance, and Protect, making it a punishing option into stat drops and a late-game priority threat. Delphox with Delphoxite, Blaze, Heat Wave, Psychic, Nasty Plot, and Protect provided another setup attacker and a spread Fire option. Overall, Stallcelth’s six did not rely on one mode; it could play through Fake Out pressure, Calm Mind or Nasty Plot setup, Trick Room from Sinistcha, or direct damage from Kingambit and Sneasler.
Across the top teams, Incineroar was the clearest common thread. It appeared on each of the top four teams, and all four used Sitrus Berry with Intimidate. Fake Out, Flare Blitz, Darkest Lariat, and Parting Shot were also repeated heavily, showing how central Incineroar’s positioning role was in this event.
Eternal Flower Floette was another major presence, appearing on the first, second, and third place teams, each with Floettite, Flower Veil, Modest, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Calm Mind, and Protect. Sinistcha also appeared on the top three teams, all with Hospitality and Rage Powder, though the Berry choice varied between Kasib Berry, Colbur Berry, and Occa Berry. Charizard, Venusaur, and Garchomp formed a repeated package on both wjbax’s second-place team and PokeReplay’s fourth-place team, including Charizardite Y on Charizard, Life Orb on Venusaur, and Choice Scarf on Garchomp.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Incineroar plus Eternal Flower Floette structures, and have a plan for both setup pressure and Fake Out-heavy positioning.
