Sooner’s winning team is built around immediate pressure with multiple priority options and a clear speed-control backbone. Eternal Flower Floette held Floettite with Flower Veil, using Modest Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Light of Ruin, and Protect. That gives the team a Fairy-type centerpiece with both spread damage and a stronger single-target option, while still fitting cleanly into standard Protect positioning.
Whimsicott supplied the obvious support structure: Focus Sash, Prankster, Timid, with Tailwind, Moonblast, Encore, and Protect. Tailwind enables the team’s physical attackers, while Encore punishes passive or defensive turns. Hisuian Arcanine added Life Orb Rock Head offense with Head Smash, Flare Blitz, Extreme Speed, and Protect, making it one of the team’s main sources of direct damage. Basculegion used Choice Scarf with Adaptability and Jolly Wave Crash, Last Respects, Aqua Jet, and Flip Turn, giving Sooner another fast attacker with both pivoting and priority.
