alt24’s winning team is built around layered speed control and immediate pressure. Raichu with Raichunite Y, Lightning Rod, Fake Out, and Protect gives the team a fast disruptive lead option while threatening damage through Zap Cannon and Focus Blast. Staraptor with Staraptite adds Intimidate, Tailwind, and direct offense from Close Combat and Dual Wingbeat, giving alt24 a clear route to play fast.
The composition is not locked into Tailwind, though. Farigiraf brings Armor Tail, Helping Hand, Trick Room, and Protect, letting the team reverse opposing speed plans or support its attackers in slower positions. Sylveon provides Pixilate spread damage with Hyper Voice, plus Quick Attack and Hyper Beam for additional closing power. Hisuian Arcanine’s Focus Sash set with Rock Head, Flare Blitz, Head Smash, Extreme Speed, and Protect gives the team a high-pressure physical attacker that can force trades. Kingambit rounds out the squad with Life Orb, Defiant, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Swords Dance, and Protect, punishing Intimidate-heavy structures while giving alt24 a strong late-game priority option.
Across the top standings, Incineroar remained a defining support pick. Takeaway for ladder players: build teams with more than one speed mode and a clear plan into Intimidate, because the top teams leaned heavily on Tailwind, Trick Room, Fake Out, and Defiant positioning.
