Gabriel Alves’ winning team was built around flexible speed control and strong spread pressure. Farigiraf gave the team Trick Room, Roar, and Armor Tail utility, with Sitrus Berry helping it stay on the field. Aerodactyl carried Aerodactylite with Tailwind, Rock Slide, Dual Wingbeat, and Ice Fang, giving the team a fast mode that did not depend on Trick Room. That dual-speed structure let the roster pivot between Farigiraf-led positioning and Aerodactyl-enabled offense.
Charizard was the central special attacker, using Charizardite Y with Solar Power and a Modest nature. Heat Wave, Weather Ball, Solar Beam, and Protect gave it immediate spread damage and sun-based coverage. Sylveon added another spread threat with Fairy Feather, Pixilate, Hyper Voice, Hyper Beam, Quick Attack, and Protect. Kingambit supplied priority and physical pressure through Focus Sash, Defiant, Sucker Punch, Kowtow Cleave, Iron Head, and Low Kick, while Garchomp rounded out the offense with Life Orb, Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Stomping Tantrum, and Protect.
Across the top teams, Charizard was the clearest repeated centerpiece. It appeared on each of the top three rosters, with Charizardite Y showing up on all three and Heat Wave plus Solar Beam appearing repeatedly. Sylveon and Kingambit appeared on both of the top two teams, giving those lists similar access to Pixilate Fairy offense and Defiant physical pressure, though their Kingambit items differed between Focus Sash and Chople Berry.
Prankster Tailwind was another major trend. Whimsicott appeared on the second- and fourth-place teams with Focus Sash, Prankster, Encore, Moonblast, and Tailwind. Grimmsnarl appeared on the third-place team with Light Clay, Prankster, Reflect, Light Screen, Spirit Break, and Parting Shot, showing that support slots were heavily valued near the top. Sitrus Berry also showed up repeatedly on bulky utility Pokemon, including Farigiraf, Pelipper, and Incineroar.
Takeaway for ladder players: build with more than one speed mode, because the best-performing teams here could play through Tailwind, Trick Room, priority, or bulky screen positioning.
