aerxdri’s winning team was built around a very clear Set M-B core: Eternal Flower Floette, Talonflame, and Aegislash, supported by Vivillon, Goodra, and Pyroar. Eternal Flower Floette held Floettite with Flower Veil and a Timid nature, using Protect, Moonblast, Calm Mind, and Dazzling Gleam. That gave the team a Fairy-type win condition that could play both single-target and spread pressure while having Protect to manage board positioning.
Talonflame supplied the speed control package with Sharp Beak, Gale Wings, Tailwind, and Sunny Day. Sunny Day also lined up with Pyroar’s Solar Beam, while Pyroar itself brought Pyroarite, Unnerve, Heat Wave, Solar Beam, and Overheat as a Fire-type attacker. Aegislash added another major offensive piece with Life Orb, Stance Change, King's Shield, Poltergeist, Iron Head, and Shadow Sneak. The set gave aerxdri both heavy Ghost and Steel coverage plus priority.
The support choices rounded out the team well. Vivillon used Focus Sash with Compound Eyes, Protect, Rage Powder, Sleep Powder, and Hurricane, giving the team redirection and disruption. Goodra was the bulkier stabilizer with Leftovers, Gooey, Dragon Pulse, Life Dew, Scald, and Breaking Swipe, offering recovery support and damage control alongside the team’s more aggressive pieces.
Across the top cut of the standings, the biggest trend was the repeated Eternal Flower Floette, Aegislash, and Talonflame core. All of the top four used Eternal Flower Floette with Floettite and Flower Veil. All of the top four also used Aegislash with Stance Change, and each Aegislash carried King's Shield plus Iron Head. Talonflame appeared on all top four teams as well, always with Gale Wings and Tailwind, though the item varied between Sharp Beak, Focus Sash, and None.
Several other patterns showed up in the upper standings. Delphox with Delphoxite appeared on the third- and fourth-place teams, while Clawitzer appeared on both second and third. Vivillon was present on the first- and third-place teams, both with Compound Eyes and Sleep Powder, though aerxdri used Focus Sash while pomoco16 used Choice Scarf. Life Orb was a notable offensive item on aerxdri’s Aegislash and on Clawitzer for gucardoso and pomoco16.
