PreWorldsTournament by Pokepika Reg M-B Edition 2 was played on Limitless on 2026-08-07, with 25 players competing in Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-B. Other final round results included antoniiomartin18 defeating rafa0145, and momemanz defeating marix.

Place Player Record Team
1 Plasma_VGC [IT] 7-1-0 Annihilape, Garchomp, Venusaur, Charizard, Incineroar, Scizor
2 antoniiomartin18 [ES] 5-3-0 Charizard, Garchomp, Basculegion, Aerodactyl, Kingambit, Sylveon
3 MomeManz [ES] 5-2-0 Kingambit, Charizard, Garchomp, Sylveon, Aerodactyl, Raichu
4 Rafa Diaz [ES] 4-3-0 Charizard, Garchomp, Incineroar, Venusaur, Toxapex, Sylveon

Plasma_VGC’s winning team was a direct, flexible composition built around strong damage, speed control, and layered pressure. Charizard held Charizardite Y with Weather Ball, Heat Wave, Solar Beam, and Protect, pairing naturally with Venusaur’s Chlorophyll set. Venusaur used Life Orb with Earth Power, Energy Ball, Sludge Bomb, and Sleep Powder, giving the team both immediate special damage and disruption.

Garchomp provided the fast physical mode with Choice Scarf, Rough Skin, and an Adamant nature. Its Stomping Tantrum, Dragon Claw, Rock Slide, and Earthquake gave Plasma_VGC broad attacking coverage and spread pressure. Incineroar filled the standard positioning role with Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, Flare Blitz, Parting Shot, and Darkest Lariat, helping the team manage tempo around its more offensive pieces.

The two less universal picks were important to the identity of the winning six. Annihilape used Focus Sash and Defiant with Close Combat, Rock Tomb, Phantom Force, and Protect, offering a strong anti-stat-drop threat and speed control through Rock Tomb. Scizor, holding Scizorite with Technician, rounded out the team with Bug Bite, Bullet Punch, Swords Dance, and Protect, giving Plasma_VGC a priority option and a setup threat that could punish passive turns.

The top tables showed a clear centralization around Charizard and Garchomp. Every top four team used Charizard with Charizardite Y, and every top four team also used Garchomp with Rough Skin. The item choices varied slightly: Plasma_VGC and Rafa Diaz used Choice Scarf Garchomp, while antoniiomartin18 and MomeManz used Life Orb Garchomp. Charizard sets were also closely aligned, with Heat Wave, Weather Ball, Solar Beam, and Protect appearing repeatedly among the highest finishers.

Fairy Feather Sylveon with Pixilate was another repeated pick, appearing on antoniiomartin18, MomeManz, and Rafa Diaz. Those teams all used Hyper Voice, Hyper Beam, Quick Attack, and a defensive move in either Detect, with Rafa Diaz also carrying Yawn. Kingambit appeared on both second and third place teams with Defiant and Sucker Punch, while Incineroar and Venusaur were shared between Plasma_VGC and Rafa Diaz, with both Incineroar sets holding Sitrus Berry and carrying Fake Out, Flare Blitz, Parting Shot, and Darkest Lariat.

Takeaway for ladder players: Charizardite Y plus Garchomp was the defining top-four core, but the best builds supported it with clear positioning tools and at least one way to punish passive play.
