X2Muz’s winning team was built around flexible tempo and strong endgame pressure. Sneasler and Incineroar gave the team two Fake Out users, with Sneasler holding Focus Sash and Incineroar bringing the familiar Intimidate, Sitrus Berry, and Parting Shot package. That support helped create space for the team’s damage dealers while also giving X2Muz multiple ways to manage opposing positioning.
The offensive core was especially direct. Basculegion with Life Orb and Adaptability threatened immediate damage through Wave Crash and Aqua Jet, while Last Respects gave it a clear late-game angle. Kingambit added another priority threat with Sucker Punch, backed by Black Glasses and Defiant, and also carried Kowtow Cleave, Iron Head, and Protect. Together, Basculegion and Kingambit made it difficult for opponents to stabilize once games started trading KOs.
The team’s special side came from Froslass and Dragonite. Froslass used Froslassite with Cursed Body and a coverage set of Blizzard, Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, and Protect. Dragonite used Dragoninite with Multiscale, carrying Dragon Pulse, Heat Wave, Tailwind, and Protect. Tailwind gave the team a proactive speed-control mode without forcing it to rely only on priority, while Heat Wave helped Dragonite contribute spread pressure next to the team’s physical attackers.
The top standings showed several clear patterns. Kingambit appeared on each of the top four teams, and three of those used Black Glasses with Defiant and Adamant. The common structure was not passive: these teams paired disruption with immediate attackers such as Basculegion, Kingambit, Dragonite, Staraptor, and Garchomp.
