PokeReplay’s winning team was built around a clear Charizard and Venusaur sun mode. Charizard (Charizardite Y / Blaze / Modest) carried Heat Wave, Weather Ball, Solar Beam, and Protect, giving the team immediate spread pressure and coverage into Water- and Rock-adjacent targets through Solar Beam and Weather Ball. Venusaur (Focus Sash / Chlorophyll / Modest) paired naturally with that, using Sludge Bomb and Earth Power for offense while keeping Sleep Powder and Protect for disruption and positioning.
The rest of the six gave the team several ways to manage pace. Sinistcha (Kasib Berry / Hospitality / Calm) provided Trick Room, Rage Powder, Matcha Gotcha, and Protect, so the team was not forced to operate only through sun-speed pressure. Incineroar (Sitrus Berry / Intimidate / Sassy) brought Fake Out, Parting Shot, Flare Blitz, and Throat Chop, offering the kind of pivoting and damage control that fits well beside both Charizard and Venusaur. Eternal Flower Floette (Floettite / Flower Veil / Timid) added Fairy-type pressure with Moonblast and Dazzling Gleam, plus Calm Mind as a setup angle. Garchomp (Choice Scarf / Rough Skin / Adamant) rounded things out with Earthquake, Rock Slide, Dragon Claw, and Stomping Tantrum, giving the team a fast physical attacker that did not depend on Chlorophyll.
Across the top teams, Charizard was a major presence. PokeReplay and IMP Gab both used Charizard with Charizardite Y, Blaze, Heat Wave, Solar Beam, Weather Ball, and Protect, while Koko25 also had the same Charizardite Y structure in seventh. Dorked’s sixth-place team used a different route with Charizardite X, Dragon Dance, Flare Blitz, and Dragon Claw.
Eternal Flower Floette also stood out near the top. Both first and second place used Eternal Flower Floette with Floettite and Flower Veil, and Dorked’s sixth-place team also included it. Garchomp appeared on the top two teams, though with different items: Choice Scarf for PokeReplay and Sitrus Berry for IMP Gab. Incineroar remained a common support option, appearing on the first, third, sixth, and eighth-place teams with Intimidate and frequent access to Fake Out and Parting Shot.
Focus Sash was another repeated item among high finishers, appearing on Venusaur, Whimsicott, Vivillon, Maushold, Excadrill, and Sneasler across the listed top eight. Sitrus Berry was similarly common on Incineroar, Garchomp, Politoed, Milotic, and Sinistcha.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Charizardite Y sun cores, but also respect the support pieces around them, especially Incineroar, Sinistcha, and Eternal Flower Floette.
