Champions Collective #18 results: Raydevy wins Regulation Set M-B

Champions Collective #18 was a 36-player online event on Limitless, played on 2026-08-03 in Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-B. Raydevy [FR] finished first at 8-2-0, ahead of saulzgz98 [ES], SuperDialga [US], and Managayo_Akkolon [JP]. The listed final round path included ludikrik over stestu, SuperDialga over ludikrik, and saulzgz98 over SuperDialga.

Place Player Record Team
1 Raydevy [FR] 8-2-0 Blaziken, Alolan Ninetales, Kingambit, Basculegion, Lycanroc Dusk, Venusaur
2 saulzgz98 [ES] 7-3-0 Whimsicott, Glimmora, Garchomp, Kingambit, Delphox, Staraptor
3 SuperDialga [US] 7-2-0 Eternal Flower Floette, Whimsicott, Basculegion, Kingambit, Hisuian Arcanine, Dragonite
4 Managayo_Akkolon [JP] 7-2-0 Medicham, Farigiraf, Basculegion, Kingambit, Talonflame, Floette

Raydevy’s winning team combined fast pressure, layered speed control, and several strong endgame pieces. Blaziken with Blazikenite and Speed Boost was the lead threat on paper, using Protect, Close Combat, Flare Blitz, and Rock Slide to apply immediate damage while building speed. Alolan Ninetales gave the team a distinct defensive angle with Snow Warning, Never-Melt Ice, Blizzard, Aurora Veil, Protect, and Freeze-Dry, letting Raydevy play around both offense and positioning.

The back half of the team was built to close games. Kingambit ran Occa Berry with Defiant and the standard pressure package of Kowtow Cleave, Protect, Iron Head, and Sucker Punch. Basculegion used Choice Scarf, Adaptability, and a fully offensive set of Wave Crash, Last Respects, Flip Turn, and Aqua Jet. That combination gave the team immediate Water-type damage, pivoting, priority, and a late-game Last Respects line. Lycanroc Dusk added Focus Sash, Tough Claws, Accelerock, Close Combat, Protect, and Rock Slide, giving Raydevy another fast attacker with priority. Venusaur rounded out the six with Venusaurite, Chlorophyll, Sludge Bomb, Earth Power, Protect, and Giga Drain.

Across the top standings, Kingambit was the clearest common thread. It appeared on all of the top eight teams, almost always with Defiant, Adamant, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, and Iron Head. The item choice varied by build: Occa Berry for Raydevy, Chople Berry for saulzgz98 and PokeReplay, Black Glasses for SuperDialga and Zach K, Focus Sash for Managayo_Akkolon, and Life Orb for Fluffy_m1n and Ludikrik.

Basculegion was nearly as common, appearing on seven of the top eight teams. Choice Scarf showed up on Raydevy and SuperDialga, while Mystic Water, Life Orb, and Sitrus Berry also appeared. Wave Crash, Last Respects, and Aqua Jet were repeatedly present, with Flip Turn or Protect filling the fourth slot depending on the team.

Whimsicott also had a strong showing near the top, with saulzgz98, SuperDialga, and PokeReplay all using Prankster Tailwind sets. Focus Sash was common on Whimsicott, though saulzgz98 used Occa Berry with Tailwind, Moonblast, Charm, and Light Screen. Floettite teams were another notable pattern, appearing with Eternal Flower Floette on SuperDialga and PokeReplay, and Floette on Managayo_Akkolon.

Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Kingambit and Basculegion first, then make sure your team has a clear plan into fast Tailwind, priority, and late-game Last Respects.
