MelodyInMyHead’s winning team was built around flexible special pressure and multiple speed-control angles. Charizard with Charizardite Y ran a Modest attacking set of Heat Wave, Weather Ball, Solar Beam, and Protect, giving the team a strong spread-damage lead option and coverage into common Water- and Rock-adjacent targets. Glimmora with Glimmoranite added another fast special attacker with Power Gem, Sludge Bomb, Earth Power, and Spiky Shield, while Toxic Debris made it awkward for opponents to trade into it carelessly.
Whimsicott was the cleanest form of immediate speed control, using Focus Sash, Prankster, Tailwind, Encore, Moonblast, and Protect. That let the team position Charizard, Glimmora, and Kommo-o more aggressively. Kommo-o carried Life Orb with Clanging Scales, Aura Sphere, Vacuum Wave, and Protect, giving the team another special attacker with priority through Vacuum Wave. Alolan Ninetales provided Snow Warning, Blizzard, Freeze-Dry, Disable, and Protect, adding a second weather element and more disruption. Kingambit rounded out the six with Black Glasses, Defiant, Kowtow Cleave, Iron Head, Sucker Punch, and Protect, giving the roster a physical Dark-type endgame piece and priority pressure.
Across the top standings, Fairy-centered compositions were prominent.
